Very good value
I got this product after reading mixed feedback, however the product appeared to be of good quality and with no issues.Specifically, many have experienced difficulty with the included connectors, being unable to pierce the main LV cable.I got a thick 12 awg cable from Lowe’s. This cable thickness is max recommended per product manual and can run lots of fixtures. The connectors were able to pierce the cable and ensure all 10 fixtures working from the first try. You need to be careful with the screws though as the threads are plastic and fragile.I also used silicone to seal all connectors before burying in the ground. No issues with rain / water to date. The spot lights are small, but powerful enough to light a tree 5 yards tall.

That’s Sunvie lights are superb!!!!
I just installed the first leg of my lighting today. There is only a couple of adjustments on the connector nuts because a couple lights didn’t work, but that was my fault. The install is simple for somebody familiar with space and lighting equations and with little mechanical involved, except for putting in the right electric. The lights are superbly made very elegant looking put off a wonderful light to protects the property. I would recommend. sunvie lights as a number one choice!!!! HANDS DOWN!!!!!!!

Perfect product
Nice and bright and easy to install. You'll need to buy extra wire to install them. I would definitely buy again if needed.

Another solid product from a very good company.
I’ve made several purchases of Sunvie products and I’ve been impressed by both the products and the company.Product details matter to me and there are a number of thoughtful touches in this product and their others:- Their dual, thumbscrew connectors are simply the best low-voltage connectors out there. Easy to attach and stays on tight.- The pathway lights screw (vs snap) together with solid threads among the parts. They’ve thoughtfully routed the power cable through the middle of the rod and through an opening in the ground spike.- Metal parts are quite solid and durable, especially for these price points.- The transformer has a mode where you can have it triggered “on” by the photoeye but “off” by the timer. That’s just how I like to set up my lights so they are not all on throughout the night.- The photoeye attaches to the transformer with a barrel connector. But they’ve thoughtfully given it a threaded outer barrel so that it can’t just inadvertently pull out.- The transformer feels as solid as a battleship. Some improvements I hope they’ll consider for the future:- Many of the more recent outdoor lighting controllers can be programmed with your location (either zipcode or latitude and longitude) so that the device “knows” when sunset is. This is quite useful particularly when you locate the transformer indoors (like in the garage) and so the photoeye might not be conveniently routed to the outside.- WiFi/HomeAssistant integration. This really wants to be part of an overall home control system.- The menu system on the transformer is very usable but not completely intuitive. Fortunately, there aren’t a lot of settings and they’ve thought to have the overall mode conveyed by dedicated LEDs rather than being buried inside some menus as is often the case on some of these controllers.I’m a fan and as I add more lights outside, this manufacturer remains my first go-to.

Great lights!
I recently decided to update our front yard and porch for the summer and these lights were the perfect thing to add. They’re surprisingly more sturdy than I had anticipated. Do be careful with the spot lights, you can easily bend the side pieces if you install them on the sticks first and then try and push them into the ground. Aside from that, the mental material looks like it will last longer than the plastic solar lights I’ve been buying. They’re also much brighter than I thought they would be. I’m used to the brightness of solar lights and these are easily 50x brighter. The warm white light color is a much nicer color than the cool blue or white of the usual lights I’m used too.Installation was a bit tricky and I had to watch a few YouTube videos on how best to run the cables. They work and have been working for a few weeks now so I think I did it right. After I replant I’ll bury the wire and see how it lasts underground. The twist connects worked perfectly. They’ve withstood a few rains and all the sprinkles and splashes with a hose. I’ll update in a year or so if i remember too.

Lights good Transformer bad
I have ordered 7 products from Sunvie but this is the first time I have had an issue. The transformer in my kit will not work in photo on timer off mode and the clock set function goes so fast it is impossible to use. there is no way to find an instruction manual on line or contact the company for help. I suggest you look elsewhere for a transformer. The lights in I have work fine if you use a different transformer.Update 9-1-24. Sunvie responded to my email request to replace the transformer. They sent me a new one that works perfect in 3 days. I would not hesitate to but more from them again. When I do it will be my 8th order of their outside lighting products. Some times customer service does exist.

[Updated] High quality outdoor lighting, arrived missing parts though
Arrived sealed missing 1 light post, ordered Sept 2nd replacement arrived from company Sept 16th. The lights feel well made and I really like the brightness and color. The transformer also has lots of options to fit whichever scheme you'd like. You can make it "smart" if you use a smart plug and leave it on test mode, but I find the dawn to dust with light sensor works well for me. The only thing I wasn't impressed with is the thickness of the metal on the spotlight bracket, it will bend like a wet noodle if you try to push it into hard soil. You can get around this by first hammering in the stake then screwing on the bracket after the stake is in the ground.
