Perfect - these firefighters are a pleasure to use. Smokeless and actually smell pleasant when burning. They light super easy and have a great burn time. They are very well made and stay together, not falling apart into sawdust like some other brands do! Wouldn’t use anything else.

Great firefighters Only need one

Having used the normal paraffin based fire lighters I thought I'd give these "eco" versions a go as they "seemed" cheaper. Often you find anything "Eco" is never as good as the original, but I was pleasantly surprised by these firelighters, they light easy, keep going for I'd say as long as the paraffin ones and they dont smell of anything much compared to the paraffin ones which I have to keep in a sealed box or they stink the lounge out, where as the eco ones dont smell of much as all. All in all very pleased and I still only use just one eco lighter, the same as I would with the paraffin ones, and they light the stove just as well and cost 1/2 the price when you look at the individual costs.

I found these, thank goodness, after receiving a box of Log Barn ones which were very small. I returned Log Barn ones and will be buying these ones in future. Last year I put Log Barn ones in a large lakeland 9 ltr clip lid box and there was room to spare. These XL Natural Eco Wax-Coated Wood Wool Firelighters wouldn't all fit in. I had to put some in a bag because they are a get size. I will definitely recommend these to the friends who bought the ones I got last year. Info - I bought Log Barn ones last year which, on the whole, were fine but there were a number of small ones so had to use 2 instead of one at times. When recent pack of Log Barn ones arrived the box was much smaller this time and the firelighters were very small. It would definitely have taken more than one thus increasing the cost of each light so I returned them.

Work better than the petroleum firelighters, easy to light and stay lit while you put in the fire. They burn well and don’t stink out the living room. Yes there are smaller ones, but these work just as good as the larger ones. We are converted to this eco-friendly firefighter. Thank you
