I know it says it is for providers, but if you're working in the ICU or OR as an RN, I think this is a great book for you to have and to review operations your kiddo is coming out of so you can understand just how extensive and complex their surgeries were, making you that better off knowing what sort of nursing complications you should be on the lookout for. The pictures are great, and the glossary/index in the beginning is wonderful too if you're not sure with the acronyms being thrown around. I also suggest open pediatrics (the website) which is beneficial at reviewing all the congenital heart diseases.
