size medium works for 14 lb, 14.5 inch waist Lhasa Apso mix
I read multiple items information and reviews. This one sounded like the best choice in a medium for a 14 lb Lhasa Apso mix with a 14.5-inch waist. I just adopted him from my favorite rescue. At 6 yrs old I am worried about house training. He goes outside OK but then comes back inside and marks on my antiques, never the same place twice. The white one stretches so none of the velcro is showing without being too tight. The blue and yellow ones seem a little tighter, and a little velcro is showing. They stay on even overnight. The owner of the rescue suggested a belly band until he learns. I clean him with Douxo S3 (the orange lid) afterward. And, I have Equate overnight incontinence pads cut in half as liners. This is working well and saving my furniture along with every 2 hr trips outside, plus after meals along with tons of praise for a job well done.

I tried them all - these fit perfectly! Medium - for 7-pound Yorkie
I just adopted a senior Yorkie. Sweetest boy on earth, loves everyone. He has one bad habit. Marking in the house. Well, when he took aim in my shoes, that was it. I tried several brands, including fully disposable ones. They all went back. The shape on these is very different and flat. No extra elastic to cause binding or discomfort. He actually doesn't mind wearing them. For sizing, I selected the medium. He is 7 pounds & 14-inch waist. The small only goes up to 13-inch waist. I made the right choice. There is extra that passes over the Velcro, but it is not a problem at all. That excess actually makes taking it off easier. I am using regular size Dog Diaper Liners for Male and Female Dogs, 150ct, Super Absorbent Disposable Dog Diapers Booster Pads fit Most Pet Belly Bands and Wraps (Regular) Brand: VoagLuk Then I don't have to wash them all the time. The liner also keeps the urine away from his skin. The regular pads fits perfectly, no leaks. This brand has minimal tape strips and doesn't leave any sticky residue behind. I keep it on him all day, and still take him out for regular potty breaks every 2-3 hours. Very easy to take off, check if pad needs to be changed, etc. Now I can relax and not worry about shoes, sofa, or what ever he thinks is a good target. These bands are well constructed, and very soft. I did buy 3 sets. They all came through exactly the same in sizing.

Great Belly band especially for thicker dogs
These are probably one of the best doggy bellybands I have used. They are really well made. The material has a stretchy flex to it so it can expand and contract. They are excellent for a dog with a wider girth. My dog is built like a log and the Mkono belly bands fit perfect on him. There's a wider crotch area for the wide pads. Highly recommend these especially for thicker dogs. Measure before you purchase. I ordered medium size for a 13 pound roundish terrier mix.

Bad Sizing but Good Product ๐
Such a hassle finding the correct size! Based on the measurements listed, my dog should've been an XL but those were massive! I then bought the L and they were still too big! Then these M are almost too small! There should really be a size between the two. Anyway, they are a good quality otherwise. Very soft and fit comfortably. Snug but not as uncomfortable as the cheaper brands I've bought. I use them specifically for my boy when my girls are in heat, so it's not to catch urine (just to stop him from being able to use his member). So I can't comment on its ability to absorb. For context, my dog is a Shiba Inu. He weighs about 17lbs. Pic of him (not wearing the band) just so you can compare size.

Thick with a unique design to better cover your dog
I ordered these in large for my 45 and 65 lb dogs before I noticed that they said they were designed specifically for small to medium dogs. Despite that they work better than the ones i tried previously. I measured my dogs as recommend and they fit as expected. If you don't have an easy way to measure around the dog, use a long piece of cloth to measure the dog then measure the cloth. They do bunch up a little, but so far still manage to cover what they're supposed to. This product is considerably thicker and heavier than the ones I bought from the pet store and these, I believe, were cheaper. What I really like about it is the little flaps that extend to cover past the band area. My 65lb dog has very thick, muscled legs and the traditional one-width strip bands couldn't cover the area it needed to because his back legs were too wide. I wish the flaps went back a smidge more, but other than that they're pretty spot on. That being said there's no elastic in the flap and though it fits against his skin it's not snug enough to prevent leaks. I think the band is absorbent enough to where this wouldn't cause issues for smaller dogs or dogs who don't pee lakes, but my dog is big and I'm not sure that there's a diaper or band out there that could completely contain all his pee without leaking (although this one seems to make a valiant effort). I'm mainly using these to make my one dog uncomfortable going inside and to keep the other one from marking in retaliation, rather than as a permanent solution to incontinence so the little leaks don't bother me. At this point, I'm just happy to clean up a small puddle on the floor rather than having to move and clean furniture multiple times a day.

These fit my long-bodied Basset Hound and fat Corgi great, but...
I have two male rescue dogs that are incontinent, one is a leg-lifter (Corgi), the other (Basset Hound) is just clueless about where (here) and when (now) to pee so I looked around for doggy diapers (belly bands, actually) that would help minimize the mess. I have used some of the larger reusable ones, tried the disposable ones, and then got some of these. The shape of these for my Basset is perfect, since he has a long ribcage that narrows to his waist, he needed something a bit more narrow than the bulkier ones. My problem is that he pees a LOT and goes right through it. It contains about half, I'd say. That being said, he drinks a lot and I'm starting to suspect diabetes. The Corgi can wear them just fine and they contain his pee. Other than the leaking problem, and only occasionally at that, they work pretty well and are the best fit I've found so far. My last con is that they are not super durable in the washer. Learn from my mistakes... before you wash them, close the hook-and-loop closure completely, then hang to dry, don't tumble in the dryer, and they will last a LOT longer! If they were more absorbent and didn't need replacing after just a few washes, I would have given 5 stars! Maybe I will get another set, add an additional absorbent pad, and wash them separately with the velcro closed and see what happens. If that extends the live of the product, I will update my review!

Double check your measuring
Update, once they are washed, they shrink a little bit so you can make them work. They mustโve been pre-washed for the smaller size that I bought before The medium size worked perfectly, so I bought a larger size as the dog has grown. However, the large size is too big.

Well made, absorbent , great fit and really nice looking!
I think this review is important because sometimes a dog simply has accidents , or bladder issues, or is a rescue and might be stressed. I am one of those that believe there is no bad dogs. Bad owners, inexperienced owners , yes! Too many dogs end up in resue due to housebreaking issues. This is totally wrong and sometimes when it is not a training issue belly bands are the lerfect answer. We bave depends for seniors, donโt we? I have had dogs my whole life, big and small purebred and mixes. My senior yourkie is my first that has issues with accidents. We finally had him housebroken when he was 1 1/2 but now he is 13 and has frequent accidents. He is an amazing dog and I hate seeing him stressed. We tried many diapers and belly bands. This is the first that he is comfortable in and does not try to wiggle out of . It js well made and extremely absorbant for when he does have an accident. I do not know why someone said there should be more velcro for size adjustment. There are three sizable strips of velcro so for example you have a shaggy dog and he gets a summer cut you can make the band tighter. My yorkie is tiny but has a big belly. He weights 10 pounds but should weigh 7 ( tough being a senior) The medium fits him perfectly. These bands are actually designed extremely well. Instead if being a perfect rectangle they curve out on the undercarriage side which keeps it coveing the male parts even if the band slips up or down a little. Since our yorkie is a little guy the straight bands often slip and therefore the band is not covering what they need to in order to be effective and are a total waste.

Fantastic find.
Shame I did not think about putting my little chap in these nappyโs 2 years ago . Life is so much easier now as he can have a free run in the house , with out me having to worry where he is putting his mark .

Needs tweaking
I've used the other diapers by this company for approx 1 1/2 year and I like them a lot it just needed to be a little rounder at the top to cover more of the belly as my dog could still have leaks above the diaper top. I thought this design sounded exactly what I needed. The diaper does cover more but I don't know why elastics were added, to me they serve no purpose and as before the size medium fit just right this size medium fits larger and is very messy looking as you can see from the picture. I am happy with the added width on the belly but I don't know that the changes warrant the steep price. I think with the new design the size small would probably fit my dog better. I am a bit disappointed.

Scrunches up, doesn't catch pee
The pad part scrunches up so my male dogs "stuff" pops out and the wrap does not catch the pee. If they could add some structure, a pliable frame ? to the pad portion so it would stay open and cover his private area.
