The instructions inside are easy to read and help you read the crystal formations.I let it settle for a few days but I live in the north west and all we get is rain! According to the instructions if the liquid is clear the weather will be clear, but if the liquid is cloudy then the weather will be cloudy: well, it's heavily overcast today and raining, and the liquid is clear. The liquid always has been clear. Nothing changes.
