Eleven: Football Manager Board Game

Great product, good packaging, timely delivery.

VERY complex but MANY youtube videos to help with the rules. This is more of a business managerial game as opposed to a soccer/football game. There is a game to be played but winning games is NOT the only problem you are faced with.You need to deal with a board of directors, staff, stadium upgrade, fans players and everything else. GREAT game for solo but rather long and tedious for 3 and 4 players. TABLE HOG!! One entire card table for solo play and add an entire card table for every person playing.No game will ever be the same. If you like business management games with a soccer theme this is the best

The game comes with a hefty guide book to learn how to set the game up. Once you figure out what all the pieces and boards are used for the game becomes very fun. I look forward to playing it every time with my friends. 10/10 for any sports fan or non-sports fan.

It's about time we got a soccer game that's actually good!Now you aren't exactly playing a soccer match here (I'll get to that a little later...), but you are running a soccer club. You will build up your stadium, hire players, hire various staff members (trainers, accountants, etc), take on advertisers, and train players. Players will take actions throughout the week to get their team ready for the match on the weekend. One of my favorite actions is training a rookie player. You flip the card to the other side and they will get better. Sometimes it will simply be a stat increase (only 1 stat - strength which keeps it simple), but other times they will get a new ability! It's minor, but I love polish like that.When it's match day, your scouts will give you a little information about the team you are facing. You need to pick the players and the formation your team will take on the field. Then you reveal the backside of your match card to see what formation the other team took. Then you compare strengths in some zones to determine goals (it's a little weird at first, but it works really well. Trust me). You can take actions with players and use a tactics card to help you out in the matches too. Now you aren't playing against other players in these matches like most would expect, but I think it plays better this way. Otherwise you wouldn't have any idea what your opponent's formation would be and it would just be random.I found the rules very clear and the examples were helpful. All the components are high quality like you normally expect from Portal Games. There is a ton of variety with all the cards for various players, staff, events, tactics, and matches.Oh and one other thing there's even a few solo scenarios and they are actually pretty good. It won't be as good as playing with other people, but it's neat to have that optionFor $50, this was an amazing deal. There is a ton of content in that box!

Excelente juego donde tomas el control de un equipo y manejas desde las decisiones de la mesa directiva, contratas personal, jugadores, mejoras para tu estadio y por supuesto, un partido cada fin de semana. Lo recomiendo mucho, y mejora más con las expansiones
