Item works as described and is currently my #1 for ridding possible lethal rodents from humans
I am an animal rescuer/lover so this is a hard review as well as with my admission sound hypocritical.I hate aniaml abuse. I know mice are rodents although some keep them as pets.Having an uncle who owned a Pest Control Business I seen 1st hand horrors that many have no idea many pest can cause such as mice ruining from brand new-used vehicles eating apart wiring harnesses that have made some cars a total loss as some damages are more experience than replacing the vehicle. As an example for information a full grown mouse can fit into a hole the size of a USA ๐บ๐ธ dime.It is impossible in my experience even woth a garage to keep mice away so they do not have to be poisoned which I wrote this review long because I write too much but also I feel bad regardless some may say mice when they ruin a car or home and or make your family, yourself sick or worse you will understand why a serious animal rescuer who fights for animal abuse laws to be strictly enforced is giving a 5 star to a poison that kills a living creature.Rodents in your home get into food pantrys many even modern time think one house has to be dirty NOT TRUE the urine and feces one or both can be deadly to humans. These come with a child and pet safe container so only the pest is able to access not a child and or pet.I give this 5 stars for working as it states on website and the price on Amazon.com at the time of my purchase was extremely fair and delivered to my door free with Prime MembershipsHopefully, in future more humane rodent replanting will work however, after personally sending money to try not to poison rodents I have found plug in to more harm to other animals and the rodents are not affected. This item works as described and keeps my famiky and pets from lethal sickness from rodents.

Worked IMMEDIATELY!
I purchased the bag with one casement but many bricks of food/poison. I put on gloves and set a case down but also saw that the food/poison brick could be placed anywhere. I put one in a heavy plastic cup on my counter in the basement where I can get field mice in the fall - this year very very bad - By the evening I went and checked to make sure they were far from the cat and dog's access. The one on the counter was already eaten into. This was maybe a few hours. I keep checking now two days after and about the same but not one indication of any more mice. like they all ate and left. I should say that I was seeing droppings every single day sometimes many. One of the worst autumns Ive experienced. I live on a lake and it's a common problem. I wish I found this solution sooner.Honestly a great product. My recommendation is to buy more food bricks than casements and carefully think out placement that have zero risk to your pets or other animals. the bricks crumbles so you must be very careful.I cannot believe how fast this fixed my problem. Will always use this each year.

they do work but... + TIP
These are great for small field mice and especially if you are trying to catch it in tight spaces like under the stove or refrigerator since these are low profile that can slide under easily. They are very inexpensive and each box comes in 4 glue traps. They do work but please note that mice will suffer and most likely still alive when you catch it so you better know what to do with it and okay with dealing with a mouse that's still alive and struggling to get away. I simply take another glue trap and put it on top of the mouse, like making a sandwich, so that there's no chance he can escape as his feet and back are now glued. I gently press the two glue traps to make sure it's tightly glued then put it inside a plastic bag with all the air out so he can go to sleep as quickly as possible then throw it out in the trash can so that mouse is inside the plastic bag without touching anything else inside the trash can. These were perfect for catching introducer that came up from my crawl space to the kitchen under the stove through gas line but when I used them inside my shed in the backyard, mouse was able to escape or many times move to different location with the trap attached to the body so I had to hunt for the trap. I wish there was a way to hold the trap down so mouse can't travel with it, which can get really messy if he ends up dying in some place you can't find. So just make note of that. Other than that, it's a great glue trap that works well but not humane at all but I don't have much choice when it comes to tight space like under the stove since the instant kill trap doesn't fit in there.

Hit and Miss
These have pro's and con's.The Bad: They're not instant killers. I've seen and heard the mice gnawing on the blocks, and read that it takes a further 48 hours for them to die after they eat. The poison dehydrates the mice and doesn't kick in until they drink - ideally outside the house - which is where they'll go if they can't find any water in your home (like a cat or dog's water bowl), but one died under our kitchen sink (it's winter here and there's condensation I'm sure), and that is NOT a pleasant smell, so we just have to wait it out and use sprays and incense to deal with the lingering odor of death. From my further reading, the poison kills in horrible and painful ways (massive dehydration and internal bleeding), PLUS they CAN make your cat sick - possibly even kill your pet - if the animal eats a mouse that is heavily poisoned. And once poisoned, it is more likely that you or your pet will see the mouse wandering about in a daze. I've witnessed this - the poor little critter seemed disoriented, was breathing heavily, and just didn't know where to go. It disappeared while I was searching for something to scoop him up with however, never to be seen again. We've got two cats, and they've caught multiple mice while we've been laying out the traps, and neither has shown any symptoms of poisoning, but I read that it IS a possibility, and is not something that can be countered once they're sick, so be warned. The Good: It says one green block kills 12 mice, and we have an infestation, because I bought eight traps about a month ago, and four blocks are missing about a quarter each, while I had to replace one under the bathroom sink completely, and it is currently missing about half of the sixth block. The other two haven't been touched. I'm estimating we've killed 24 mice or more thus far (with just the blocks - I'm assuming the cat-kills add another three or four), but I've watched the mice ignore the blocks completely in favor of trash cans, my mom's bird feed, and I've even witnessed them climbing curtains to try get to sugary drinks (turns out that like deer, they get used to the human beings that co-habitate the same area with them, and will thus get more brazen over time). Out of all those mice, only ONE died where we can smell it; I was concerned upon purchase that our entire house would quickly reek of death, but only the kitchen so far, and only after about a month of constant use.Overall Thoughts: I think the mice multiply faster than they consume the poison, but the good news is that they do eat the stuff, and will disappear a couple of days after having done so. I've seen a few different mice come and go in my bedroom, with some ignoring the blocks for so long that I felt compelled to seek other options. First I used Vinegar in a spray bottle to discourage them from getting to close to me or my bed - a stinky, but effective solution, as they are VERY sensitive to smells, but they're also VERY interested in rummaging through my trash, and eventually ignored the vinegar too.So I bought some humane traps that I rigged with peanut butter, which - just HOURS after setting them - have already caught two (they just arrived today, and so far, so good). UPDATE: Caught TEN MICE in a single day with the humane traps. Astonishing, but another positive of the blocks is that you rarely have to deal with the mice after they're poisoned. With the traps, you have to be sure to WASH YOUR HANDS A LOT or risk getting salmonilla or something. So these poison traps DO WORK, but they seem to work best in heavily trafficked areas - like inside one of our bathroom sink cabinets - but they run the risk of having dead mice stink up your house too, and the mice clearly prefer other sources of food. I would probably recommend the humane traps first, or in combination. Hope this helps, and best of luck if you're infested with the cute little bas#ards!

Attract and Kills them pretty quickly
I bought this along with another bait it worked just as effectively and quickly as the other. It was easy to use and they ate it all so the only cleanup was the dead rodents! . Man! This stuff is potent! I live next to a field so every so often ill see evidence of a mouse in my garage. I placed them around the perimeter of my garage and throughout. When I say this stuff work like mamba venom! I didn't even realize there were so many in there! They literally took 5 or so steps from the bait after ingesting it and DROPPED! It definitely attracts them and it kills them. Now I just keep it out even if I don't see any because you never know.

Use gloves - last longs and holds up well
We shot ourselves in the foot by feeding squirrels this winter. Stupid mice nested in air conditioner and ate wires. We thanked him by putting these out by unit and nearby areas. They work well.
