The U3417W is an additional monitor to provide a second screen to a another PC and cannot function stand alone. The monitor's dimensions are (rounded) - 32 inches (82 cm) wide, 22 inches (56cm) high maximum (can be lower as stand has adjustable height) and 9 inches (12cm) deep (from back of stand foot to front of screen edge but there is a useable amount of free space under the screen and stand base depending on the height the screen is set at. The diagonal screen measurement of the screen is 34 inches (87cm) as stated in the monitors name. Any processor internal to the monitor which controls the monitor's operations is inside and I have no idea what its dimensions are - I would imagine in common with most processors it is small. I have been very happy with this product in the time I have had it. Hope this helps. **Q: Does this display have a webcam feature** A: There is no cam in this monitor. Like in all reviews I can Confirm that the stand is very solid and the view is immersive.The thing that was stoping me from buying it was a price, because in that price range I could grab a powerful Graphic card and I am just a student, but this purchase was definitely worth it. And I’m sure it will pay back in the long-term.If you need plenty of space on your desktop, this is the one you want. Comparing Acers Asus, LG and Dell, dell is wining in every aspect aparts from the LG freesync which I don’t need anyway.This monitor for productivity like coding is awesome. It's amusing when the video segments of the game come on, because they get displayed in 16:9, with black bars down each side, but during the rest of the game it's operating in 21:9.
