Review: High quality, impressive performance, excellent value for such a well known German brand!! - I could have spent 3 to 4 times more for another FISSLER set of a different range that is Made in Germany, but I decided to give this Made in China entry level set a try. Well I am really glad I did. The vessels and the lids are indeed manufactured to a very high standard, they function superbly as I'd expect from such a renown brand even though KORFU is considered their 'budget friendly' range. So far, I have used them successfully to cook various items on my gas stove without encountering any negative issue typically associated with averagely priced or cheaper stainless steel cookware. They are also a doddle to clean by hand. To be fair, I do not expect the quality to be the same as the more expensive sets, nevertheless, I am most delighted with this purchase, it is a great value set that offers high quality and impressive performance. Thank you FISSLER for bringing out a more affordable range without compromising on quality control. UPDATE Dec 2025: I have now used these pots for over 5 years, I am still very happy with them. The are a joy to cook with and the cleaning / maintenance is a doddle. No regret to get rid of non-stick pots and replace with this stainless steel set.

I could have spent 3 to 4 times more for another FISSLER set of a different range that is Made in Germany, but I decided to give this Made in China entry level set a try. Well I am really glad I did. The vessels and the lids are indeed manufactured to a very high standard, they function superbly as I'd expect from such a renown brand even though KORFU is considered their 'budget friendly' range. So far, I have used them successfully to cook various items on my gas stove without encountering any negative issue typically associated with averagely priced or cheaper stainless steel cookware. They are also a doddle to clean by hand.
