It is really at least 5 1/2" it is big, and very cool. I have pretty big hands and it would fill my palm and extend well past my first knuckle of my fingers. so yes it is a very nice piece.

It will sink. It's hard resin and not porous.

Hi! How realistic is this "in person?" I do NOT want to try to sell it, but could it "pass" if it was in my display case among some real fossils?

The color is not quite right, as the resin is almost jet black, and the weight is not correct for a fossil either. But apart from that the features are realistic and the detail is very good.

Not as advertised, looks nothing like the photo shown. Is a moulded item solid black with no serrated edge (which would require better moulding techniques). Not recommended.

Great replica
