Lancôme L'Absolu Rouge Hydrating Cream Lipstick - Smudge-Resistant

I’m in love with this lipstick line—THE best, most long-lasting, transfer-resistant lipstick I’ve ever bought. I can even drink coffee without lipstick stains left on the mug. I’ve bought probably 7 colors. My very fave? 326 Coquette—cool rose pink. So flattering to almost any skin tone. I use it as my go-to nude. I don’t like traditional nude lipsticks; they’re too beige/brown, which pales and “washes out” my face. Coquette gives a beautiful, natural pinkish color with hint of peach. Very flattering and soft-looking. Nowadays, I don’t typically spend a lot of money on cosmetics because they are no longer a top priority at my age. But this lipstick is so great, it’s worth the extra money to me.

Edit: I ordered another color: Blush Classique (Love it) I must make a correction to my comment below. I have always added chapstick to any lipstick that I wear, but I have found that this lipstick really does moisturize your lips better without the chapstick. I have always had to deal with dry skin and my lips are no exception - believe me when I say this lipstick is the best for dry lips. I love both colors and depending on my mood, I sometimes add both for color variation. End of Edit I ordered the 196 French Touch warm After applying, I blot my lips with a tissue and then add a good chapstick (to keep them moist). The color stays on for a long time and looks natural. You can't even tell that I have lipstick on (a look that I prefer). The fact that the color stays and does not wear off is the main reason as to why I like it so much (aside from the fact that the color is perfect). This lipstick does help to keep your lips feeling moist. But I have always liked adding chapstick to any lipstick that I wear - and no other lipstick has ever stayed on like this one does. In my opinion, it's a bit expensive but, worth every penny. I love it. I'm very happy with the purchase.

Very lovely lipstick. Like the shade. It's very soft on. It's a good quality for the money. My favorite part is how it pops out of the lipstick holder when you push it. Pretty Holder.

Lipstick is very creamy and smooth. Looks great on and stays longer than most others.

The color and the staying power- best lipstick I have ever used. Yes, it is pricey, but oh so worth it. And the sexy clicky container- I feel like the coolest lipstick toting goddess ever.

My old Lancome lipstick shade discontinued years ago and I have been searching for something similar since. This is a perfect halfway house between a strong bright red and a nude shade - not too strong so can be worn in the office and out and about.
