OK, just buy this! And another as a gift. Over many decades, I’ve tried foot scrubs, pumice stones, various metal files, and a battery device w/rollers. I’m finally ready to toss them all! This file is so easy to use and is SO GENTLE! Thick, smooth, easy to hold handle. I was able to use it while I stood in the shower. Just used water when using. Wasn’t at all uncomfortable, and I wasn’t afraid I’d hurt myself. I was able to remove calloused areas on the side of my big toes, and my feet feel unbelievably smooth. This has to be one of the best designed tools ever. Very sturdy! Don’t let idea of glass scare you. I tossed it in my gym bag.

I purchased this as well as these other products and couldn't be happier with the results after 1 use! I have been dealing with horribly callussed cracked and painful heels. I soaked my feet with the magnesium and tea tree oil foot soak first. Then I applied the callus remover for 5 minutes with foot covers on. Scrubbed it off with the glass file which was super gental yet effective, washed it all off and finished off with beeswax heel balm. I recommend all of these products. They have transformed my heels in 1 use! They are still cracked but they are no longer callussed which will allow them to heal now! These are must haves for tired aching feet! Will buy again!

I love this foot file. I've used traditional pumice stones for years, but I actually prefer this. It removes dry, dead skin really well without feeling overly harsh, and it's much easier to control. One of the biggest advantages is that it seems much more hygienic than a regular pumice stone. It rinses clean easily, doesn't seem to trap dead skin the same way, and I expect it to last much longer before needing to be replaced. I also prefer this over the aggressive metal "cheese grater" style tools you sometimes see at nail salons. Those can remove too much skin if you're not careful. In my experience, some salons prioritize getting your feet as smooth as possible rather than preserving the healthy skin you actually need. This file lets you gradually smooth rough areas while giving you much more control, so it's much harder to overdo it. I use it after a shower when my skin has softened, then follow up with a good foot cream. My heels feel noticeably smoother afterward. If you're looking for a durable, hygienic alternative to a pumice stone (or a gentler alternative to a metal foot grater), I highly recommend this.

I'm giving this a 4 out of 5 for the breakage factor in this item. It should be obvious that the file is GLASS, but the implications aren't necessarily apparent. I have been storing this file on the top shelf in the shower. DO NOT DO THIS. Store it where you're not going to drop it from a tall height. It WILL break. The problem is that you might not actually see the break. Then you use the file and you can cut yourself pretty badly. I think think is the best file on the market right now, so I'm ordering another one. Just be careful to make sure that it hasn't cracked of you're gonna have a bad time.

This is the best skin remover. I've got nasty dude feet and they are the softest I've ever had them. I've used all sorts of foot scrubs over decades. Nothing comes close to being as effective and comfortable. This thing would almost be worth it as a single use item. No bs.

Tried it in the shower! My feet are literally the crypt keeper. I have never had such dry thick nasty feet in my life but I had a major surgery and my skin has changed for the worst. I didn’t even want to show my feet I have tried everything and all different creams. Nothing works. This made my feet soft and nice in one use. I was shocked at how nice my nasty feet became. Not even pedicures make my feet this nice. I recommend this to anyone who needs help. The price is cheap for what you’re getting. 👍🏻

As someone who walks a lot, runs and wears barefoot shoes, calluses are inevitable. I visit a chiropodist every few weeks for professional hard skin removal, but this file is great to use in between times. Unlike other glass foot files this one has a nice comfortable handle making it very easy to hold and manoeuvre. It also has just one grade of surface, not a coarse and finer one found on others, so saves time. As for use, hard callused skin just sloughs off quickly. When the file gets clogged I tap the surface of it on a towel to remove the skin. Pro tip - after using the file apply some CCS foot cream containing urea to the areas filed and pop some socks on. New, healthy feet!
