Excellent white noise machine!
Excellent for white noise- no gaps or annoying inconsistencies in the sound, just a full deep sound that will mask outside noises like traffic while you sleep. It appears to be a very nicely rebranded version of the old green Brookstone model that has served me well for over ten years. Can't speak to the baby-soothing sounds because I'm not a baby anymore. I'd take this over the slightly cheaper Marpac Dohm, due to the fuller and louder sound and the headphone output.

Good for infants, kids, or adults
This is a good product, and one that my family has used for years. We have three--one in each bedroom of our apartment that remain plugged in, and one running on batteries as a floater for wherever our infant is sleeping.

Horrible Product
I just got my package delivered today and when I tried to use the sound machine it didn't work. First it just made a beeping noise and wouldn't let me change the sound option. Then, it stopped making any noise at all. So disappointing. I would never buy this item again
