I have tried super cheap, drugstore pencils, expensive name brands that cost $30-$40 for a pencil, and these are amazing. They are easy to sharpen, which I like, I like a very sharp point, and they go on easily, but they are not so soft that they don't apply precisely. They are the perfect mix of soft/hard. Very easy to glide on my eyelids, and you have around 5-8 seconds to smudge it or clean up smears, or I use my finger nail to swipe up the liner at the end of my lashes. After that time, the eyeliner stays put, it will not budge. It is amazing, it doesn't smear off, it doesn't bleed out under my eyes or on my eyelids (I have always gotten eyeliner on my eyelids by end of day. I must have oily eyelids, not gross, but very moisturized or something). This comes off easily with Micellar water and I wash with face wash. I purchased the dark brown (which is very dark brown, nearly black), the glittery brown (so pretty and not as harsh as the dark brown, the clay (pretty light, but still pretty) and the dark green (haven't worn yet but it's pretty).
