Great alternative to calling Tesla Roadside or AAA
Excellent value and includes everything needed to get back onto the road. Item seems to be of high quality. Does take up significant trunk space but it’s a trade off I’m willing to live with.

Spare tire fits over the large brake calipers on a Model 3 Performance.
Extra travel insurance for my 2023 Tesla Model 3 Performance with 20 inch Uberturbine wheels. Did a test fit and operation of the jack, wrench, and spare wheel. The wheel fits over the calipers with no issues. The lug wrench and socket worked fine. The kit included a tool to remove the wheel center cap. And the jack had no problem fitting under the car when fully collapsed. Some reviews had issues so I picked up some trailer leveling blocks just in case. The ratcheting wrench for the jack works great and made the lift easy even though it takes alot of turns on the jack. Note that the jack is pretty flimsy for such a heavy car but it worked okay, although I would only use it for emergencies. Overall, excellent spare tire kit for a 2023 Tesla Model 3 Performance.

Quality Item (the whole kit)
Very well made and put together package. A real rim not spare tire style rim. Not much impresses me these days but this item did.

Great Quality - a Complete Kit
I was pleasantly surprised with how clever this kit is as well as the quality. For example, the bar to loosen the lug nuts expands to a length that provides good leverage then slides to a short enough length that you can spin off the nuts. There is also a very nice ratchet type handle for the jack. There is a concern that with a deflated tire the jack may not fit under the car. This has been mentioned by a number of reviewers and was much appreciated when I was considering this purchase. While it may be a questionable solution I ended up cutting the “nipple” and its flange off the pedestal it is attached to and got rid of the pedestal. I’ll just insert the nipple into the body work for the jack to engage. (I put Vaseline on the nipple so it slids in/out easier and keep it in a sealed bag.) I picked up almost two inches of clearance by doing this.

$190 less than the exact same kit under a different name. Fits 2023 Performance Model 3
Wait times for Tesla roadside service has slowed way down due to the fast rising population of new owners. I feel better knowing that I can get myself back on the road without having to rely on Tesla, AAA, or cellphone service. I bought this one because it was almost $200 less than the Modern Spare kit. I don't want surprizes on the side of a dark road, so I took the time to test the fit of the wheel on the front and back. The wheel is clear of rubbing against calipers or anything else. It fits nice and flush and seems to be well made. The tools that come with it are decent. I switched both tires using only the tools that came with the kit, instead of tools that would make it easier and faster. I'm not going to put my floor jack in the trunk, but I did throw in a breaker bar to loosen the lug nuts a little easier. $300 is about as high as I wanted to go for this piece of mind purchase. This is a solid deal. I definitely recommend it. *** EDIT: Okay, I got a flat yesterday and had to use this for the first time. I'm dropping from 5 stars to 4. Yes, the jack is too tall when the tire you need to replace is flat. I hadn't seen what others said about that, nor did I make that equation when I tried it out months ago when it arrived. My inner Macgyver kicked in and tried to find a rock or something to slowly roll on top of to lift the car just enough. It's not off by much. No rocks where I was so I tried it with a piece of wood. Nope. It would kick the wood away without rolling on top of it, regardless of trying to secure it. Finally I realized that I can just fill the tire with the portable air pump I carry that plugs in to the DC socket and get the jack under there just enough. That worked and I drove 40 miles on the spare. But that wouldn't work if you had a blowout or for some reason air escaped faster than if you had a small hole in the tire. I'm not sure if I should try to find an even lower jack, or keep a brick in my trunk,. I'll probably take all the air out of one tire and test the brick method in my garage to see if it would work and go from there. Either way, buyers should know about this so they're not surprised on a cold, dark road.

Takes up almost all of the trunk space
The jack puck is no longer attached to the jack, so you have a bit more clearance if you didn't realize you had to remove the puck first before placing it under the jack points of the Model 3. I also have the separate pucks in the trunk just in case I needed a shop with a 4 post lift to raise the vehicle. The aluminum space saver wheel looks to be of great quality. The only real complaint I have is that I had to invert the tire in the storage case so the tool pouch wasn't jammed into the cargo liner of the trunk. So basically the tool pouch/compartment is facing up (towards the speaker/decklid) and the tire is facing up so I can refill/check the tire pressure by unzipping the storage case. This is how I always orient my spare tires in other vehicles to facilitate ease of access to the schrader valve. Tesla's biggest design oversight is the lack of storage for a mini spare. The Model Y has this area under the trunk where you could carve out foam to fit it. This is not the case with the Model 3, and this spare takes up like half the usable room in the trunk. This is a serious issue for those on long trips with luggage but its not the fault of the spare tire manufacturer. People that claim just use roadside assistance obviously never drove into an area without cell or internet reception. In addition, waiting 3-6 hours for roadside versus taking 5 minutes to swap the tire/wheel assembly seems a no-brainer. My 2017 Fusion Sport is the same weight as the Tesla Model 3 LR, and the same size (if anything the Fusion Sport is slightly larger) and has a factory equipped aluminum space saver spare under the trunk liner. It has saved me twice over the past 8 years and doesn't take up space.
