I ordered 2 king size pillows. One of them was packaged nicely with plastic covering the pillow. The other one had no plastic cover on pillow and it had been squished into box and taped closed. The new pillow is nice and soft, the used one is much more firm. Update, the company reached out to me and are sending me a new pillow free of charge. Great customer service

Vaverto seriously has the best pillows out of a batch of 14 other different models I have tried in the last 3 months. I kept only this one here and their other offering which has "soft" in the title, which is indeed more mellow. This one here is to me on a scale of 1 to 5 would be "2" for firmness level where there is still the support that you would expect or maybe desire from memory foam but that will still sink around you making it very comfortable. Their other offering named "Vaverto Ultra Luxury Soft Memory Foam Pillow - King Size - with Breathable Modal Cover for Ultimate Comfort and Support Standard Ventilated Design with Removable Bed Pillow Cover" Is the one I personally prefer which is more mellow and sinks a lot with a bit less of support, the foam itself will fold very easily as you lift the pillow in your hands. I was also greeted with a petroleum-like smell with both pillows when I got them out like some others stated. What I did is I took out the cover off to expose the foam as soon as I took it off the plastic wrapping and let the foam air dry 2-3 days in front of a ventilator and washed the cover in a baking soda/detergent mixture then tumble dry low it. Everything was golden after. We both love our pillows and we exchange them often. Easily recommended.

I saw several reviews where people ordered a king size but got a standard size: that happened to me too, and I returned it and requested a replacement (hoping they'd be more careful of what they sent the 2nd time). The 2nd time I got the king size (which is very long! sticks out of my king size pillowcase). The interesting thing I noticed right away is that the box it came in is larger for the king size (6 1/4 inches wide 5 1/2 inches for the 1st box) and actually said KING on it whereas the 1st box didn't have the size printed on it. When I took a closer look at the label on the box, the 2nd KING size one just had the barcode and model # printed on the bottom of the box, whereas the 1st box I got had a sticker with the same model # and a description of King Size on top of the model # printed on the box, which was different! So it appears someone slapped a King Size labels on Standard Size boxes!! No idea if it was accidental or deliberate, and if it was Amazon or the manufacturer, but found that very odd (and explains why multiple reviews complaining of receiving a Standard instead of King! So if you order a King size, check the box before you open it! (because once you pull out the pillow it's a pain to squeeze it back into the bag!!) Regarding the pillow itself, I'm still trying to decide if I like it. It feels too tall and firm when I first lay on it, but then it very slowly softens and my head sinks in a bit, but I'm still waking up with a sore neck so not sure it's helping (to be fair I was waking up with a sore neck before I got this pillow). It does feel cooler than my old pillow (which was down).

I ordered this pillow after buying and returning two other pillows that had shredded memory foam. I wanted to try one that is a solid piece of memory foam. That's what this pillow is. It came vacuum sealed, but took it's shape rather quickly once opened, and did not have any unpleasant smells. It is great for head support at night. It doesn't get too hot like other memory foam products I have tried. It also bounces back pretty quick so my head doesn't roll back into the same indentation I just moved from while sleeping. My only complaint is that it is very boxy shaped, so there's no gradual incline for my neck when sleeping on my back. When I roll to my side it's pretty good, although for me, it could be a bit taller. I'm continuing to sleep on it though, as it's better than any other pillow I currently have. I won't say its my favorite pillow, but I like it enough that I don't plan to return it, and will continue to use it.

Overall I'm satisfied with my purchase, I would purchase this pillow again, and I would recommend this pillow to anyone looking for a firm memory foam on the medium/tall height range. I do a lot of bodybuilding and need a Thicker height pillow because my shoulders are wider. For this purpose this pillow let me down. Lots of people in the reviews states this pillow was too thick for them so I thought it would fit me fine but this pillow is probably an inch too thin to be ideal. I don't think there's really a pillow for my use case so I've decided to just stick with this pillow. I have no idea where the cooling part is. It does not seem any cooler than any other pillow I've used and I still wake up with the pillow sweaty. I noticed it immediately after taking this from the package and tried it without a pillowcase first and then with a pillow case second and neither scenario was cooler than any other pillow. I took 1 star off for the cooling.
