Why did lid color change from light green to brown?

They changed the color of the top because they changed the formula. I have used this moisturizer for at least 10 years. I thought I was getting the same moisturizer, just with a different color top. Not So. This new formula has a sunscreen ingredient called Homosalate. And, not just a little, 11.5%, in addition to other sunscreen ingredients. Homosalate interferes with endocrine function and is not particularly good for you. It also increases your estrogen level. Since I have had breast cancer I can not have any estrogen products. And, while this is not an estrogen product, it does have an affect on your estrogen level. I will not be using Aveeno anymore.

what's the expiration date?

I just received mine a couple of weeks ago, the exp date 4/2024. I have been using this product for many years and normally I've purchased it in the local CVS store, but couldn't find it there anymore. I'll most probably just keep purchasing it on line in the future. Hope this helps!
