if it is a proper tree in the garden, then I would recommend our Jobe's Fertiliser Sticks for Evergreen Trees & Shrubs. For indoor plants you can either use these fern & palm spikes, but the Jobe's Fertiliser Spikes for Large Indoor plants are more suitable, due to their size.

**Q: would these products be suitable for grasses too? i have a living wall of grasses and ferns i need to fertilise. Thanks**
A: Not sure about your ferns but they are great for our palm trees and as they are a reasonable price why not give them a go.

**Q: can anyone tell me what the ingredients are? just looked up the data sheet on this and there are barely ant details**
A: These are mineral fertilisers. They contain nitrogen 16%, ammoniacal nitrogen 10.5%, phosphorus pentoxide, soluable in neutral ammonium citrate and water 2%, phosphorus pentoxide soluble in water 0.1% and potassium oxide soluble in water 6%.
This formula has been specially formulated for ferns and palms.

A: I am using them for a palm in a pot.  The palm is looking well.  I don’t think Bamboo needs a lot of encouragement, I have lots in the ground and most of it is rampant!
