Behringer EUROLIVE B208D Active 200 Watt 2-Way PA Speaker System with 8" Woofer and 1.35" Compression Driver

These are small. They are light weight. But as a lazy sod, I was testing a new super 4k sub-woofer and plopped this on as I did not want to cart in my big speakers. They held their own. I was playing at a volume I was standing in front of the speakers but the clarity and volume of these is so much more than I expected. I planned on using these as secondary speakers half way down a room for conferences. But These would be ample as front speakers for an acoustic band. These are just too heavy to mount on a mic stand if that was your thoughts. Just too heavy. yes i turned them upside down as the thread on top is the same as a mic thread. My round based stand toppled straight away. The bass was good on them, until I tested my sub then it was rubbish. But add a decent sub to these and you have a nice sound for all sorts of music at a sociable noise level.

Using it for PA (separately microphones, keyboard or recorded tracks) what a great all-rounder this powered speaker is. A clear natural sound, simple but effective controls, lots of power across the range, effortlessly fills a large church. No distortion, no hum except when using wireless mics when a small hum is audible but only at very high volume.

Great speaker. Smaller than expected but packs a punch. Hooked up to a ddj400 controller with xlr cable and sounds great. Not been able to test volume higher due to neighbours but I can safely say barely turned the volume up past one on first install and wow. Would suite a small party no problem also good as a monitor speaker. Delivery was super quick top marks. Might invest in another in future

Got this to replace a broken vocal monitor. Works perfectly. The small driver means that I'm not swamped by bass - the vocals come through very clearly.

These are great compact speakers that I use fro smaller venues for speech and music. I also use them as satellite tops with a pair of subs and they handle most anything. Great value and well designed

Excellent speakers, superb value like all behringer gear. great sound and solid build quality.

This speaker was faulty so I returned it. Important... if buying just 1 speaker, you will need to buy a mono audio plug not stereo. You can also buy a Bluetooth plugin, which if using iPad for example will mean you can control speaker remotely.

Fantastic piece of kit. Very light, great sound and, for this money, pretty much unbeatable.

I use it with my keyboards in a rehearsal studio with a 5 piece band. Plays definitely loud enough with lots of headroom and an overall balanced sound. The transient response is very impressive and there are no background noice or hum from the speaker. The size and weight is also a big plus. Will buy one more to test a stereo setup when they again comes available at Amazon.

These speakers are great. They are small, but very powerful. Class D, so you get a little hiss, as with almost every powered monitor out there. My band uses them as stage monitors, and I do live sound on occasion for bands and community events. We are not a loud rock band, and therefore everything comes through crystal clear through these speakers. They have PLENTY of low end for vocals - in fact, I ended up rolling some off for lead vocals yesterday. Because they are small, they don't have overwhelming lows, which muddy up a monitor mix in my opinion. No feedback issues at all, totally clean and clear. Best small monitor system I could ever ask for for the money. I even think we can use them in the practice room instead of my big JBL mains...
