Ites a great design . Super to measure current flow on meter tails 25mm . And eart leakage on the earthing conductor .

I was surprised when this was posted as a review.I had originally bought two flukes (don't ask), so, I asked Amazon to take this one back. I changed my mind and decided to keep both the T6-600 and this one the T5-1000. However, Amazon don't not appear to allow you easily to change your mind and keep the item you originally wanted to send back. They keep telling me to send it back.It is a great machine. And, this is the one in my bag as it is smaller than the T6-600. Above all, it is simple to use, whereas the T6-600's extra features take a little more getting used to and, its main selling point, i.e. the ability to measure voltage outside of the copper wire will be rarely used. A back light with the T5-1000 would be useful. But, it still gets 5 stars.

Absolute rubbish all that money get no case the probes get stuck in the holder when you plug it in to use the probes are rubbish I’d rather use some £15 probes

The equipment was used. Its a great tester but disappointed that it was used

I've had a few different makes over the years klein ( crap) , kewtech ( crap?) , ethios( crap?) Megger( 2nd best) but these are far the better testers I've had . I had a pair for 10 years before they got damaged , so thought I'd try a few cheaper options , big mistake , as I ended up buying them in the end anyhow.

Although expensive, easy to use and reliable.

The media could not be loaded.  The test leads let this product down completely. I've added a video to show how unreliable the supplied test leads are. Hopefully Fluke will look into this before it's too late to save their world renowned reputation for quality.For the top price paid for this item I was expecting the very best straight out of the box & I was saddly disappointed as you don't "get what you pay for" with this product. In addition to the high price paid it doesn't even come with a protective case or crocadile clip accessories to add further "salt into the wounds".This latest purchase has lost my confidence in the Fluke brand to the point where I'll be considering all future purchases with other brands.
