Toes box wide enough to accommodate splay correctors
After reading many reviews, took the plunge and bought my first pair of barefoot style shoes (these). I am determined to start correcting my misaligned toes, failed bunion surgery and painful arches that have ruled my life for too long . I am going from quality, leather, supportive New Balance...which is the only shoes I can wear most of a day without unbearable pain....to these shoes. I bought on Amazon without ever having tried on or seen in person so I expected a fail. Most shoes look wide enough but once on they are generally too tight or I can feel everything I step on. These shoes came wrapped in sealed plastic but just in an amazon box, no shoe box. See the made in China label. They feel light weight and pretty cheap but they are cleanly made....no sloppy glue, wierd seams or mismatched colors. I had to open the laces as wide as they would go but once on, they were easy to lace up normally. My 8.5 4E wide ladies foot fit perfectly in this 8.5 shoe with plenty of toe box room and height for my thick feet. My toes have about 3/4" extra space from the nose. The fit is surprisingly good and the shoes are comfortable. Then I put socks on which took up a little more room than I would like. I then put my toe spreaders on plus socks and the fit is still comfy but I would get a half size bigger if wearing toe separators with these shoes. So far I am very happy I did not waste the $45 ish these cost, however, I've only owned them for 15 minutes so I can't yet say how they feel on my arches after wearing out in normal life. I hear it takes time to retrain feet to align and build muscle to support arches properly. In the first week or 3, my feet didn't hurt and were not sore from suddenly wearing shoes with zero support, but they were tired. I think this is evidence that my feet and calf muscles are retraining. I am very happy with this purchase. Update.... several months later and my feet still don't hurt. In fact, after a whole day my feet are tired but not painful as they were when wearing support shoes. My PF doesn't flare up with these shoes. I am so surprised that I am not in more pain. My toes have not straightened at all though and I am still not fully used to the thinness of the soles. These shoes still look good and I wear them daily. I wash the white pair of shoes in the sink with Dawn and warm water and they are still pretty white. Another bonus....I don't tie or untie my shoes, I just force them on because I am usually in a hurry and the back of the shoe hasn't broken down at all. In fact, both pairs still look very nice. Hope this helps someone. ***Update...did a 10 day trip to London and Dublin and wow did these shoes hold up! I took a risk and only brought these 1 year old shoes and no others. We did 56 miles in 8 days on foot and I could feel the cobblestones which were really uncomfortable. But best of all, no stabbing pain from PF! Yes swollen, aching, painful feet but no stabbing pain anymore! Life changing. ***Update.... after 3 years and 3 pairs ofthese shoes, I now get corns on the bottoms of my feet which never happened before I bought this brand. I believe it is because the soles are so thin and I can feel the pebbles when walking. This is supposed to be a running shoe but its painful to step on anythingl, even with a cushion insert. It just needs to have thicker soles. The toe box width is perfect and wide enough for my 4E feet. I thought I finally found my shoe but sadly, I have to keep looking for a thicker soled shoe. No barefoot styles for me.

Highly Recommend
TLDR, I wore these shoes for a year now and they're my absolute favorite in terms of comfort. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a pair of wide toe box, zero drop shoes. For more details, I wear these for the gym (weight training), running, and ocassionally for work. They're extremely comfortable and don't smash my toes in. They're also very light weight which I think a lot of people overlook when buying a shoe for long use. The sizing is also true, I normally wear 11's and the 11's fit perfectly on me. Some reviews mention they have no arch support and little cushion which I agree with, however, if you're in the market for a wide toe box zero drop shoe they aren't really designed to have those features. You can replace the insoles if you really want to however. For appearance purposes, they're as good as they can get. Wide toe box shoes are typically hard to style since they look like clown shoes by nature, but I like to style them with gym shorts, relax/straight fix pants, or cargo pants to make them look okay. Cargo pants are definitely my favorite look on them. These shoes aren't water proof at all, they use a mesh material which keeps them super breathable and cool. If you plan on using these for construction or any activity where you can get really messy or dusty, things will get inside. I used these to demo a roof and got lots of dirt and tiny debris inside them. The grip on these shoes are actually pretty impressive. I didn't have any grip issues with them, but my experience testing this is low. The most extreme was walking and standing on a 4/12 pitch roof and did not slip once. Overall is is a great shoe for the price. It's super comfortable all around, lightweight, and priced very well in my opinion. My first pair I use almost daily, mainly for the gym and running, and haven't had any damage or problems. My second pair I use occassionally for work and dirty work and again, haven't had any problems.

Can’t beat for the price but needs a little help
First off I have been loving these for about 2 weeks now. Exactly what I was looking for: affordable, wide toe box, zero drop but with some midsole cushion. I also tried the converse like hitops which were trash in comparison. Out of the box they felt decent, but after wearing them for a few days I could feel my feet getting sore due to the poor insoles. Only thing there is a thin foam piece that does very little. I replaced them with some insoles I bought for some old shoes I no longer wear, and wow they took this shoe to the next level. Comfort is as good as it can get standing on my feet for 10+ hrs. Now the minor downsides. First off as mentioned the insoles. The insoles I put in there are as much or more than the shoes themselves. I’ll come back to this in a bit and why I don’t mind. The major flaw seems to be build quality. I don’t see these lasting too long. I see the outsole separating before the shoe is worn out. You can actually see the glue and how they are attached. In fact the toe on my left foot is already stating to separate a little. With that said the benefits outweigh the cons. I don’t mind using the nice insoles 1) because o already have them laying around and 2) they’ll last longer than a pair of shoes, so I can just reuse them. Yes these shoes will probably wear out faster than I’d like but at their price I could buy 3x these versus one pair of Altra Lone Peaks. I’ll probably still invest in some lone peak hikers for when I want something nicer and a mid top, that way I can switch between them and make them both last longer.

I’ve run 1000+ miles in these.
THE BEST!!!!!!! hi, I’m a runner. I run a daily 5k or 10k. I RUN IN THESE SHOES for treadmill running or road running. I have put 1000-1500 miles into these $40 shoes. Coming back for my second pair! This is the MOST COMFORTABLE barefoot padded shoe. (Yes, I’ve tried altras, and those are too narrow in my mid foot. Very uncomfortable for me) I only wear barefoot shoes (normally w 4mm padding) but if I am on a treadmill or road for many miles, I need padding. These shoes have all the prerequisites of barefoot shoes, except they have nice padding which is exactly what I want. What I like about this shoe: flexible sole throughout, very wide toe box, no arch support, wide in the mid foot as well. Cons: there is no grip on the bottom of the shoe. Great for treadmills and dry roads, but be careful when it’s wet out. My request for this company: could you please make this same shoe with a grippy sole? I’m actually thinking about buying a pair and bringing them to a shoe repair shop to have a vibram trail running sole put on the bottom. YES PURCHASE. I’m coming back for more!

Questionable durability, not my favorite running shoe
I got these as a potential, much cheaper, replacement for my Flux runners that I love. Those get smoked after a 2-3 hundred miles so I was wondering if there was a similar alternative. Attaching a picture of the heel with less than 15 miles on them. The tread on rhe rear of the heel is already well disappearing. For walking, I like them and they feel good. For running, however, I feel hot spots in the cushion that I haven't in other, less padded zero drop shoes. It worked my legs in a different way that I didn't like. I'll probably try them a few more times before just relegating them to walking but my worn out Flux's and new Altras are a lot better feeling (although more expensive)

Love them
Second pair of WHITIN shoes I have bought. This one has a more traditional sneaker look to them. A wide toe box for sure but less clownish look. They absolutely improved my balance and the foot pain is pretty much gone when wearing them. I just walk in them and not run so I can’t comment on the running aspect of the shoe.

Happy feet!!
FINALLY! My feet aren't screaming at me!! I've bought and returned several different brands of shoes in recent months, online and in stores, feeling more desperate with every attempt to find shoes that fit. Born with wide, flat feet and high insteps, I've always been good at 2 things - swimming and not falling down. Retired 7 years ago, I now have a busy mowing business that's 70% weedeating, requiring heavy use of my feet on crooked, rocky ground. Good shoes are essential, you'd assume, but hard to find with these clunkers I have for feet. Worst part - 6 months ago I was diagnosed with bunions, making shoe-fitting a painful mission. Tried electronic foot analysis, which is fun and interesting, but went home with no shoes after trying 3 different brick and mortar stores in nearby cities. My review of these shoes is this - I am SO happy! My feet feel like they're being hugged! No pressure points, no seams stabbing on the inside, a well-designed sole with stickability. Big mowing day ahead and I'm not thinking about my aching feet. You can buy 3 pairs of these for the price of ONE pair of fancy brand name shoes. Buy these shoes!! Your feet will look up at you and smile! *edit, after day 1* mowed 3 big properties yesterday and my feet were STILL happy. Gonna buy more colors. ***more happy editing after 2 weeks of hard mowing** To summarize, I do NOT dread walking. Woohoo! Already ordered a 2nd pair!!

New favorite walking shoes
I’ve been wearing barefoot minimalist shoes for years. Recently, I was looking for something that had a barefoot design (zero drop, wide toe box) but also had some midsole cushioning. These have worked out perfectly. I feel like I’m getting all the benefits of a barefoot shoe without feeling every pebble I step on. My toes have room to move, but my mid foot and heel feel locked-in secure. These fit perfectly and are super comfy for long walks. They also look good for casual everyday wear. My only gripe is that the tread has been wearing too fast. The outsole has good traction, but after less than two months there are already tread-bare patches.

Sehr gut bei Übersupination bzw. Unterpronation
Relativ fester Schuh v.a.
