It handles the sands well. Even with the cookie cutter military tires. Not super fast which I was expecting but is definitely a climber! The scale of the jeep fits a 12" GI Joe snugly so it's not just ghost driving. I ended up buying the Zeee 2S Lipo Battery 7.4V 5200mAh 50C Battery which came with 2 batteries, so far I've been able to get 2+hrs on a single battery starting at full charge and going nearly full throttle the entire time. Looking at changing the oil in the shocks as they do tend to stick a little bit.
