I had some bike grease on my suede trainers and it was very effective at removing it. It did leave the suede a bit darker, perhaps because I applied a bit too much but it still worked well. I would highly recommend it just make sure to follow the instructions – less is often more. The kit includes a brush which is a great addition and really helps restore the suede’s original shine.

Great cleaner, nice little set that comes with everything you need. It’s restored my boots, cleaned and hidden imperfections (realised too late that suede should not be exposed to water) and they look like a new pair! However, they do look like a slightly darker shade now, but overall very happy.

Really good knewbuck cleaner, brought my boots back to life, and you dont have to use a lot of it, there's plenty in the bottle to last months so definitely a great buy.

Used on light-coloured soft-suede Birkenstocks. Like other reviewers found that this changed the colour (made it darker) after only being on for a few minutes. Would only use on dark coloured items. The included brush is good.

I used this product on my suede shoe boots after somehow getting one of the boots stained on New Year’s Eve! No idea what it was and i thought I’d ruined them. I saw that there was mixed reviews on the product but thought I had nothing to lose so gave it a go. I followed the instructions and it got rid of the stain so my boot looked good again and lives to see another day! Considering the boots are black, it hasn’t discoloured them and I cleaned the whole area as it does say not to do a spot clean. I’m really pleased I gave this product a go - great result 👍

Not a miracle cleaner but did bring my horribly dirty suede shoes to a respectable enough state so glad i brought it

This product should NOT be used on UGG boots as you can see from the photo attached, my Granddaughter's daughter's UGG boots I bought in February this year for her 10th birthday are now ruined because of this product! I raised a complaint and this is their response: "there are a few reasons why discoloration can still occasionally occur, even when directions are followed: UGG boots are made with particularly soft and delicate suede, which can sometimes lift a small amount of dye during cleaning — especially on lighter colors. Natural differences between the two boots (such as slight variations in wear, sun exposure, or suede texture) can become more noticeable after cleaning. Uneven moisture absorption or drying conditions can also affect how the nap of the suede sits, making one boot appear paler even if both were cleaned the same way. Please take this into consideration when you need a suede cleaner - perhaps look at alternatives? I've now got to fork out another £96 to replace these boots! I am not happy. I also lied about the star rating as the bad reviews can't be seen until you press the more reviews button. This product doesn't even deserve one star!

Waste of money from my perspective. Purchased in the belief it would remove heavy stains. The cleaner is little more than frothy soap. No doubt a cleaner but every day soap based cleaners can do the trick.
