Our guinea pigs love their new cage bedding! We installed the freshly washed liner a half hour ago and Leo is already burrowed in the cozy pocket and Koko is reclining in his favorite spot. I love that when they race around, the bedding stays in place so there aren’t exposed plastic patches. The liner takes longer to dry than the fleece flippers that come apart, but the quilted material of the Guineadad liner is easier to spot clean and lays much flatter/looks neater. It’s also a very good deal - one bag of paper bedding costs the same as 2 1x2 liners to use in their bathroom/food area. Oh, and delivery was prompt and the packaging is adorable.

These fleeces have been such a good investment. With our first (smaller) cage, we used a Guinea Dad 2x3 C&C liner and never really noticed a smell. Later, after expanding the cage, we used cut up moving blankets to cover the areas not covered by our old fleeces. Big mistake. After a month or so, we noticed the room just smelled like a barn all the time. I didn't appreciate how much better these fleeces are at absorbing smells and getting cleaned well until I tried using something else! In light of that, we rearranged the cage so that we could use a larger liner exclusively and are very happy. These fleeces are a great deal. They massively outperform any other form of absorbant material (ie Uhaul pads), they are easy to clean and pretty durable, they have a pocket that the pigs love to hang out in, and they cost about the same amount as the raw materials required to make your own fleeces.

If you have Guinea Pigs, you NEED this liner! No more messes of bedding paper or chips. You will get your money worth and save so much money for other things. Trust me on this. We have three Guinea Pigs and all three of them can burrow in the large burrowing pocket with ease. Super easy to sweep up messes and super absorbent for catching their urine. The urine will not leak through the mat unless you don't change the liner or wash/dry the liner while they are out playing. It can only hold so much before it will start to leak into the cage. I've bought three to switch out weekly. Just shake out any debris before washing in the washer. I highly recommend drying them in the dryer so the excess hair is removed and the fleece liner remains soft. It's chew resistant and very durable. I will say after about 1-2 years (depending upon how many Guinea Pigs you have) you probably want to throw out the liner due to their oil secretions causing the liners to harden in patches and causing white spots that no amount of safely washing can remove without causing issues to your furbabies health and well-being. Super easy to remove and replace. I'm telling you, yes, they are expensive but in the long run, you WILL save money! And your furbabies will be healthier!

Top Matte für unsere beiden Meerschweinchen. Der Preis ist happig, aber wenn man bedenkt, wieviel Geschleppe und Kosten man durch das Wegfallen von schweren Einstreusäcken hat dann rentiert sich das ganz schnell. Die Matten sind sehr saugfähig wodurch es einfach nicht so stark nach Stall und Urin riecht. Wir haben 2 Meerschweichen und wechseln ca alle drei Tage die Matte, den groben Deeck saugen wir zwischendrin weg. Sie läuft nach dem Waschen ein wenig zusammen, aber das hält sich in Maßen. Sie ist weich, hochwertig verarbeitet und gefällt uns optisch sehr gut!
