Blackspur - Junior Aluminium Hacksaw with Mitre Box - 15cm - Red

Inferior part plastic, low quality item that looks like it won't last more than a few uses.

Poor. The two stars are for the hacksaw handle. The blade is rubbish. The mitre block is a joke. The angles are not cut accurately and the cuts have not been cleaned.

The junior hacksaw is not the one portrayed in the picture (that's a normal size) anyhow the blade in the junior hacksaw is WOEFUL one use and the teeth grind off.

The hacksaw is fine and seems suitable for the job. The mitre box looks is also suitable for the task however the guide cuts had sharp edges and needed a little attention with some emery clothe to make it more 'comfortable' to use. The blade is a load of rubbish and should be replaced with a more robust offering - shouldn't affect the price that much!

handle broke within 5mins when assembling the blade and therefore- never got to use the tool for the purpose of cutting plastic.

The old saying you get what you pay for rings true here. Blades would twist and would not cut in straight lines even on light plastic etc, would not recommend this item.
