I have to admit I was not looking for a Timex watch. It is sort of your grandmother's watch brand. But after looking at the details of this one, I realized it ticked all the boxes of what I was looking for and gave it a chance. It turns out to be a great little watch! The mother-of-pearl face has a soft shimmer and organic waves. The silver numbers are easy to read and the watch itself, while a good size to tell the time, is smaller than the norm for a watch face. I love the indiglow feature which allows me to see the time at night. It comes with a selection of two bands, a black leatherette and a silver metal one. I opted for the silver metal and find it is comfortable on my wrist and doesn't pull at my arm hair. It is a bit large on me and my watch doesn't stay put on my wrist. Since it is an expanding band, I can't make it smaller. So I'm happy with the watch and can recommend it if you want an inexpensive, but sturdy watch to wear around town.

I have been wearing this watch for 8 months and I really like it. It came with a metal stretch band that is a pain to resize and a black leather like replacement band, both are the quick release type. I live in heat and humidity for at least 3/4 of the year on the Gulf Coast, so I decided it was best to just find a silicone replacement band. Because of the beautiful mother of pearl face, I decided on the complimenting color of the silicone quick release band seen in the picture. The watch is so well made and durable and the quick release bands are a dream to change. This Timex keeps great time and I also like the lighted face option when in darker places for seeing the time with little effort. I think this is an attractive ladies watch and a great value, too!

This is a very nice basic Watch.It is easy to read and water resistant.

I bought this watch after two months of shopping, warily expecting the issues other reviewers mentioned: doesn't keep good time, too shiny, hard to adjust the band. I thought at least it's so cheap I can get another if it's no good, and I liked the listed features. For my watch at least, none of those issues were true. I've been wearing it since it arrived two days ago, and the time it keeps seems perfect (and it's easy to read, with the clear yet subtle gold dots for each minute). Appearance: the finish is exactly what I was expecting--shiny, polished brass--and I like it. It doesn't seem too bright or tacky to me. It's simple, classic-looking, and elegant. I like the quiet rainbow sheen of the mother-of-pearl dial, and I love that the numbers are in gold instead of black or some more obvious shade. As far the fit and adjustment: I have small wrists (6 1/8" around, or .15.3 cm), and the band nearly fit out of the box. I didn't like that it slid around, so I took out three links using a tutorial from The Watch Prince>Info>"Removing a Link: Expansion." I had no problems making this simple adjustment, but I do have some experience making jewelry and fixing sewing machines, so I'm familiar with adjusting tiny metal bits. I also had two pairs of precision needle-nose pliers. If you don't have a tool like that, it would be hard. Based on the proportions in the picture, the watch is smaller than I expected, even after holding up a ruler to see what a 25.5 mm case and 12 mm band would look like. Quite flattering on my small frame. I think the pictured watch has had the band shortened dramatically. The tick is audible if I put it up to my ear but otherwise I have not noticed it (I have no noticeable hearing loss). The practicality features are wonderful. The backlight works well: you push in the stem (the knob for setting the time) and the light glows. As soon as you release the stem, the light stops. I love that there are numbers on every hour marker, and thin black lines on every minute, and all without sacrificing beauty. The expansion (spring) band is also convenient, although I prefer the look of regular link bands. I was planning to buy a regular metal band for $10-20 and replace it myself, but now that I'm wearing it, I'm very happy with the original band. Highly recommended.

I had this same watch before. I liked it so much, the face is very pretty and easy to read. My watch band got stretched out. Since I couldn't find a comparable watch band at a reasonable price, I just purchased another watch. It works great and I always love the Indiglo light to make it readable at night. I highly recommend thisvwatch.

Did not work, winder jammed in and could not be released. Unusable. Unfortunately by the time I opened packaging the return date had passed. The moral in this is always check out an order immediately!

Watch is just as expected. Arrived with 2 wrist bands, the metallic one is elastic and more comfortable than I expected. I had to have a few bars taken off because it was too large for my wrist. The plate is MOTHER OF PEARL, in case you were wondering. Indiglo light is always a great bonus.
