Will this work well with Randall .45 1911's?

It's great for getting into places that a solvent or gun oil won't. I use it for a lot of things. But I use a good solvent for cleaning a firearm and a good lubricant for areas that need lubrication. There are better items that protect bare steel in the long run. After a competition match the famous Bill Wilson takes the grips off and drops his .45 in a bucket of CLP to soak. It's pretty messy after the first few shots! Then he puts it away for a few days before another match.

Does this clp still contain ptfe (teflon)?

Michael, Breakfree CLP manufactured since 2012 contains no teflon. I had this same question answered to me on a technical site.

Safe to use on a 709 slim?

Haven’t had any problem using on my collection. Safe for composite materials but you won’t want to use this on your grips anyway- it’s a great lubricant
