Awesome
Ignore the people moaning. This is a simple product. Clearly, you need to get to grips with the software. In honesty, unless you use similar software on a day to day basis, it's always going to be difficult. You just need patience and you'll get there. The applicator itself is perfect. It is easy to use - simply put the label on it (upside down!) and press out the cut-away bits. Then put the cd on and press down the middle bit. It applies the label and is spot on. Great product and excellent value for money. Don't bother spending more, as this does the trick.

Simple Tool - with some reservations
This little gadget is to replace a 20 year old HP unit of a similar design. It is simple and straightforward to use. My only reservation is that if 'small hole' disc labels are used it is a bit touch and go. On a 'wide hole' label the label is slipped over the centre hub and the cd/dvd is then pressed onto the label with the un-recorded side down. However, with a 'small hole' label this is not possible. In this case I have found that it is necessary to place the cd/dvd over the central hub with the recorded side down. Then VERY carefully place the label with the hole centered 'by eye' and then press down again very carefully so as not to cause bubbles or creases. I also find that it helps to let the printed label dry out for a while as they can be quite floppy when they come out of the printer damp.

Three Stars
I guess it's ok but still a waste of money to be honest.

Basic CD label applicator
This device does not have any instructions. It consists of a single piece of plastic, not a spring loaded one as some similar looking versions. You place the label sticky side up on the base, having removed the pushout 4cm centre portion. Then you put the CD/DVD on the stand on the centre peg. that is about 16 mm in diameter. The cd is now about 1cm above the label, and the only way to attach it is to tip the whole gadget upside down, so the label drops down onto the face of the CD. you then have to remove the gadget and use your fingers to smooth over the label to stick it firmly down. I achieved this without any air bubbles. It works but in my opinion it is grossly overpriced. I could have made it out of wood with a piece of dowel for a fraction of the price.

Should be cheaper
It does work, but it is very expensive for what it is, the price should be around £1.5

Simple and effective
At first glance this little piece of red plastic looks cheap and inferior...However, once put into action, it does the job nicely. I'm happy with it!
