Vortex Crossfire II 4-12x50 AO Rifle Scope, Dead-Hold BDC Reticle (MOA)

I have used many different scopes over the years and have several top end brands mounted on my top end rifles, but I also have a number of working rifles that are not premium brands that needed high end scopes so I tried Vortex. I now have 5 on various rifles and the performance is brilliant for the price. Higher end performance at a sensible price that competes with some of my top end scopes that cost three times as much. Robust, well engineered, excellent glass and feature packed performance, couple that with their excellent guarantee and it’s easy to see why they are so well reviewed.

Brilliant scope for deer stalking

I haven't used this scope in the field yet, so I'll update later. But right now this is a nice scope. Very clear picture equal to all my leupold scopes and my Nikon as well. It seems a bit heavy but that's being picky. Every corner of the vortex canteliever mount reads torque numbers which makes me wonder how many scope tubes have been crushed. So for the first time ever I used an inch pound torque wrench. I like the windage and elevation knobs. Not the best in the industry but for the cost, they're exceptional. All the adjustments are ease of use, no fighting focus or magnification or parallel. I can recommend this scope.

Well built , such a clear view money well spent. The only thing is that it doesn’t come with the scope mount. Not a big deal you can get the at any hunting ftore.

Bei dem Glas handelt es sich bereits um mein Drittes von Vortex. Ich bin begeistert von dem Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Die Verarbeitung ist tadellos und die optischen Eigenschaften sind bemerkenswert. Klare Durchsicht, gute Radschärfe, Dioptrienverstellung und ein feines gut fokussierbares Fadenkreuz. Die Treffpunktlage ist stabil von .22 lfB bis .308 win. Natürlich ist es kein Zeiss, Kahles oder Swarovski, aber wer diese Markenprodukte kauft, lässt sich im Fachhandel beraten und nutzt nicht die hiesige Plattform. Also klare Kaufempfehlung! Nicht zu vergessen die Garantie, welche die Firma Vortex auf seine Produkte gibt. Diese hebt sich von den Mitbewerbern in dieser Klasse deutlich ab.

I changed from a Weaver 4-10x40 for my Savage Axis. The first couple of shots at 35 yards missed everything, but I finally hit at 25, moved it to 50 with adjustments, then one shot at 100 yards (the one on the X in the picture) and 200 yards . At that distance, the horizontal was about three inches left and an inch low, but I’m quite sure a 15-18 mph cross-wind pushed it. After shooting, I realized the AO was touching the barrel, so I’ve ordered some mounts to elevate it about a third of an inch. Bottom line is that it’s an exceptional scope with great clarity at a fair price.

The scope had a masons scratches on it so I return it promptly and the returned my money within days. Thanks for that m. But I wanted a exchange but wasn’t able to do so. Maybe I didn’t do the exchange properly.
