This tape is brilliant! I had previously bought tape from a leading chemist, at the same sort of price (they've reduced it recently!), and it was much flimsier and nowhere near as sticky as KT PRO Tape. Having had major knee problems most of my adult life, it's brilliant to find something that supports my knees, and can help my quads take the strain, as I still play 5-a-side. As well as the support, its adherence to the skin is impressive. You can shower and it will remain stuck (I think following the instructions about rubbing the tape when first putting it on seems important in this respect). I haven't tried keeping the tape on for much more than 1 and a half days, but I can imagine that it would last the 3/4 days people claim. I'm totally sold on this tape, and would highly recommend it.

Best of all the tapes I've tried
I have been taped whilst playing tennis since May this year - after 11 months out with tennis elbow. Only buy this Pro version, the same manufacturer's original tape does not stay on the skin for very long. Do ensure that the area to be taped is freshly washed and completely dry before applying. My physio advises to apply each end with no tension, and the middle 90% of the tape with a degree of tension. If you make the entire strip of tape tight, then again it will start to peel off the skin quite quickly. Best of all the tapes I have tried.

KT Tape Pro 20 Strip Synthetic Precut Kinesiology Tape
This tape arrived really quickly, postage was second to none. The tape is durable and does what it's supposed to do, and it does it well if applied correctly. It's also cut into handy strips. I used it on my shoulder and could feel the support. The only problem I had with it, is that it affected my skin after 24 hours, so I had to take it off. It came off easy enough if you lie in a warm bath for a bit then peel it off. I wouldn't fancy just pulling it off without soaking, as it does stick really well. If you don't have any allergies to plasters and the like it should be fine to use. It dropped a star because it affected my skin but I don't know if that's a bit unfair to the tape as if it hadn't affected my skin I'd still be using it.

Well, it seems to have worked!
I was a little skeptical about trying this product as I couldn't really see how attaching tape to your skin could have any effect on the muscles. I recently pulled my calf muscle whilst jogging and it's a recurring injury that I get quite often and it usually lays me up for weeks. Out of desperation, I thought I'd give KT tape a try, but I wasn't really expecting any results. The tape is relatively easy to apply, but it's very important to follow the instructions to the letter to get the best results. I had to shave the back of my leg to ensure the tape stuck to my calf as any sign of hairs and the tape has no chance of sticking. Also, take your time when applying ensuring you don't touch the sticky side with your fingers and rub the tape down firmly to ensure it sticks. With the leg prepared, I find the tape stays on for about 3 - 4 days and that includes showering twice a day. First off, I though the tape was having no effect, but after 3 days of wearing, I noticed the pain in my calf reducing considerably. After 6 days, my calf was good enough to start jogging again and after 10 days, I have no indication of any calf injury whatsoever and am back to running 7km 3 - 4 times a week. Now, bearing in mind that before applying the tape, I could hardly put any weight on my injured leg and was limping badly and that this recurring injury usually puts me out of running for 6 - 8 weeks, the results really do seem to have been amazing! I'm now a believer in KT tape and will definitely use it again on future injuries.

Does not do what it says on the tin!
KT Tape Pro 20 precut purchased via Amazon I’m sorry but this product is not up to scratch and does not do what it claims in the description My last order with you was so disappointing, I read the product information where it clearly says the the tape is unaffected by perspiration, this sounded perfect for my needs, because I had a golfing holiday in Thailand and needed support on my wrist after a procedure following ligament damage. After applying the tape on the first day it lasted two holes before it fell off and I was left to play the remaining 16 holes without any protection, the same thing happened on each of the following 5 days… it’s a terrible product, how you can advertise this tape as being perspiration resistant and for sports men and women is beyond me!

I’ve used this brand for years. Here’s how best to use it
I’ve used this brand for years. Dodgy wrists. Knee. Ankle. Weirdly I always keep buying the purple pre cut ones. I’ve tried other colours as black and green and for some weird reason they don’t seem to stick as long??? Weird. Maybe it’s a fluke but purple always seems to work best for me so I’m sticking with it (no pun intended). Top tips for success... 1) Shave, clean and dry the area properly for at least 30 mins. This helps it stick properly and you don’t scream when you pull it off a few days later. 2) Cut strips into half if possible. When I’m dealing with my knee I cut them into two and round off the edges with a sharp pair of scissors. It helps them stick better and the tape lasts longer as you’re using less. You don’t always need to use the whole piece and sometimes when I do I feel more support when I overlap the layers. If you mess it up try again. Oh and don’t touch the sticky area as it won’t last as long. 3) Watch YouTube. There are lots of videos on YouTube from physio etc on how to apply tape for knees, elbows and every joint in your body. Failing that I took some to a physiotherapist and asked them to apply it properly for my condition and I’ve copied it ever since. Don’t be put off everyone. Try it and let me know if I’m right by giving me a ‘helpful’. Hope it relieves your pain and discomfort as it has mine.

Worth the extra money
I've tried cheap imitations of this tape before but this stuff is so much better made and does the job it's supposed to do. It comes in a roll but pre-cut to the perfect size, just pull each section off when you need a strip. I have a knee that in the past has dislocated/popped out of socket several times. Running in a straight line is usually OK so for a number of years I've avoided anything like football where twisting and sudden turning is involved. Just recently I've noticed the odd 'tweak' during a run or round of golf...hence the use of tape. Other versions I've used have been a lot cheaper but come in one long roll which means faffing about with scissors...which can be problematic getting a neat edge and the right length. These are so much easier to use and more importantly they stick well and stay in place for days. It's important to follow the very clear instructions and use the links to the website to understand how best to use these. You need to apply them in advance, not straight before exercise and rub the strips once in place as the friction heats the adhesive and makes for a better stick. If you just whack them on and set off then they're likely to peel off. Getting the right amount of tension is vital too. If you allow a decent amount of tape to be stuck on with no tension at all and tense the middle bit over the affected area then you'll have a more stable support. Really pleased with this product...it allows me to carry on exercising without the worry of my knee giving way.

Not as sticky as it could be
I've used a few of these tapes and this one is ok but it doesn't stick as well as others I've used. I use it for me dodgy ankles and you need to be careful pulling a sock up over it and it doesn't really last for more than one go - other tape can stay on for days and survives getting wet without issue

Great price
We use this tape for injured athletes, we chose the orange because it was cheaper than the other colours. Not sure why but the colour doesn't make a difference on the product. Came as promised and on time
