WeiderCast Iron Hex Dumbbell

Needed to pair with another similar 5lb dumbbell and this did the trick. Nice, solid and perfectly weighted.

Ordered on Monday, received on Thursday- quicker than I expected. The balance and handle size make the dumbbells easily maneuverable. Heavy and liftable, what more could you want?

Arrived late, it appears this might be the reason. It's covered in dents, dings, chips and scratches. I didn't realize you could get this level on damage on something so heavy and dense. It's still usable, but I have to be wary of cutting myself should I grab it by either end.

Good knurls, make it for easy gripping.

yep, I'm sure they mean well, there at amazon, selling heavy dumbbells, however, if you're gonna sell them then you'd better pack them pretty darn well. or, you get what I got: a totally broken dumbbell, one head by itself and the other head with the handle attached. nope, sorry, not gonna work too well for any exercising fun. and, unfortunately it arrived (late) a couple days before xmas so that I couldn't give it to my nephew for xmas for his home gym. oh well, reckon I might be the moron for trusting someone's gonna sell these for a good, cheap price and then put any effort into shipping them well.

So the first set got lost in the mail, second set arrived quickly but instead of two 55lbs weights I recieved one 55lbs and one 75lbs dumbell. Not dark gray as pictured but bright silver. Quality seemed really poor, lots defects and very rough looking. Going back.

The welding on one of the weights I received was loose when I received it . Now worried it may fall apart when using it making it a safety issue. The box it came in was all crushed up.

Mine came without the promised knurling. Smooth surface handle instead.

Just like the photo. Some come with small bumps from the welding but very very hard to feel and notice mostly
