Dock Runner Spinning Reel and Fishing Rod Combo

Great wee rod. Keep it in the car and jump out if going past a river. Reel isn’t the best but does the job.

I have an ugly stik gx2 and I have caught decent carp, pike and barbel, in fact it is one of my favourite rods. Took a punt on its little brother and I don't regret it. Rod is awesome, I have caught perch, trout and jack pike with it. So sensitive and strong it's unbelievable. Reel isn't the best but that isn't an issue for me.

I have used this rod for pier and harbour wall fishing. It is a good size with plenty of sensitivity for fishing close to the wall. Ideal for catching wrasse and other fish that like to be close. The one thing is the real is small and the line needs upgrading. Other than that a great a little ugly rod.

Good rod very good value for money came with a scuff across the reel else it’d be a 5* caught first pike on it

My 10 year old Grandson experienced fishing for the first time in Australia whilst visiting his Grandparents. He loved it. Hence me getting him a fishing rod. He was over the moon with it.

If you're a casual fisher, this is a no-brainer. Spent the afternoon pier fishing and caught fish after fish. The line is a bit flimsy, so I'll be replacing that as it did snap on one fish, but other than that I can't fault it. Light as a feather to hold.

Great little rod and reel combo. Easy to put on the side of a rucksack when going for a walk just incase you need it.

Well made for the price. Looking at American YouTube videos much stronger than it looks and more versatile than you might think. Well worth the price tag.

I am very satisfied with this fishing rod and reel combo. The rod is lightweight, easy to handle, and performs well for shore and dock fishing. I have already caught several fish with it, and the reel works smoothly. It is a great option for beginners and casual anglers. The only downside is the fishing line that comes pre-spooled on the reel. It is not very strong and broke easily during use. I replaced it with a better-quality nylon line, and the setup works much better now. Overall, a good value-for-money fishing combo. I recommend changing the included line before serious fishing.

Real short rod for bait fishing off the boat and cast pretty good for the length not too stiff or flexy its just right imo

I highly recommend this for a toddlers firts rod. I was looking for a fishing rod for my 3 year old son and in my search i saw a video on youtube of kids fishing with this rod. I know it might not be the specific purpose it was made for but it lends itself perfectly for a childs fishing rod. My boy loves it and it also withstands the beating only a first time angler can give. He also gets lots of compliments on it. Its quite a cool looking fishing rod.

Rod broke after fighting 2 GTs, was fighting the 3rd one when it broke

I got this combo as a “truck rod”, something to use when on my way home from work. I fell in love with it, and it has quickly become my primary rod, especially for panfish. I have caught catfish, carp, and more bluegill than I can count. Due to its small size, it is a perfect rod for kids, or smaller adults. It’s light weight, casts well, and would make a great canoe rod, truck rod, or just a cheap backup. Due to its size, it can be a bit more difficult to set the hook if there is slack in the line, but after a quick learning curve, it sets wonderful. I have combos that cost 10x+ what this one did, but this has quickly become my favorite. Perfect for casting into brushy areas where my larger rods would get tangled, yet still able to handle BIG fish. Cannot recommend this combo enough!
