Sony Vented Sleeve for The CRE-C10 Self-Fitting OTC Hearing Aid, Small CRE-S1VS

These are great, I figured if I could get an OTC (Over The Counter) pair and save some money when it came time to replace them, than why not try. I went with the SONY brand as i have trusted their products for years, and Amazon USUALLY has an easy and fair return policy, so I bought them and I am so happy I did, after some on phone app adjustments, they work better than expected. These work flawlessly and battery lasts approximately for 18-20 hours of use before recharging It is definitely money well spent, and for a grumpy old man (that's me) to say that, it takes a lot to please me enough to write a review

My Sony hearing aids, which I've had going on 3 years now, I always had to adjust them to keep from feeling like my ears were isolated to just the devices. I didn't realize they came with the closed vent rubber tips. So I was using the smallest size to hear more ambient sound. Eventually one came off and got stuck in my ear a while back and I had to go to the ER to have it removed. So, lesson learned- mine were getting weak after 2 and a half years they were coming off easily due to my constant adjusting. Now I learned Sony makes the rubber fittings vented, and I've installed these and my hearing aids are perfect. I can hear more of a mix of the ambient sound in addition to the amplified sound from the hearing aid. Plus I'm using the right size now for my ear. Kudos to Sony for improving the longevity of their products.

These tips work great on my hearing aids, but like the headline says....not any additional choices available to choose from, and definitely a revenue stream for Sony....but whatcha goin' to do? You have to have these when it's time to change out the tips. I don't like paying what they cost for what I would assume is literally less than $2 in material (the packaging probably exceeds the cost of the actual product), but if you wear this particular hearing aid, your (and my) hands are tied. Buy them with confidence, however, as the quality is good and luckily they last for a while before needing to be replaced.

These work great and the shipping fast makes it even greater!! I have found as the weather changes that I need different size covers for my Sony hearing aids. I love that they are packed so you can just bring one set with you and put another set in your purse in case needed. They are easy to open, which is a really big plus for me, nothing like struggling to get a package open!

I tried another major brand in office for $7,200 but I felt like my left ear was filled with water. The Sony has a vented small sleeve that relieved that sensation. So I hear much better with these and the price was much cheaper! The phone app worked easily to customize them for me. I am happy now that my hearing has improved so much and for a mere fraction of the other pair. The above photo shows how they fit inside the ear canal. Thankfully I don't have to have big units behind my ears.

I needed to get different size, vented hearing aid sleeves for my Sony hearing aids... these work just fine...
