OSD 8" in Wall Subwoofer 150W Easy Install, Paintable Grill IWS8

After reviewing other models and sizes this one made the most sense. Received this OSD IWS8 inch subwoofer speaker in February 2020, this speaker was installed nicely in the lower wall of my home and works in conjunction with my whole house ceiling speakers, this speaker is wired in parallel with another 8 inch active sub woofer that is on the other side of the house to create a balance low end respond, it is driven with the OSD SMP-100 sub amp that is wired to a 4 channel speaker switch to balance the impedance of all the speakers, when driven these speakers produce a deep solid bass that help to shape the sound nicely with the ceiling speakers even at a low volume, I am very happy with this speaker and would recommend it to anyone that is thinking of purchasing it for a whole house setup. I've had some seriously expensive speakers and this puts out crisp clear dialogue. I love how it sounds and was an excellent addition to my theater.

These speakers sounds great for the money. Installed in the family room and the sound is awesome!

I'll preface this by saying that I'm not an audiophile, just an average geek who likes to listen to movies loud and in full surround sound. I bought this speaker to replace a black KLH speaker that I had been using in our pre-flat panel TV days. This speaker was easy to install, the grate was easy to get on and off (but is snug when in place), and the speaker sounds fantastic. The dialogue level is easy to distinguish properly, if that makes sense, and the sound level seems perfect to my ears. We use our set-up not just for movies but also for television (sports, especially) and it works quite well in those instances as well. The price was great, and I'm glad I didn't spend more for a different speaker. I'd recommend it wholeheartedly.
