Hello! I ordered this device to extend/boost the Wifi signal from our upstairs living room to our dining room downstairs. The Wifi signal strength isn't as great it is downstairs as it is upstairs.After opening the package (which was intact and well-packaged) I read the instructions, which was clear enough for me to understand and follow through with. I do suggest using the "Bluetooth" method with your phone because the other method was much more difficult (this method was manual and did not use a phone).After a few minutes, the Wifi extender was up and running! I tested the Wifi from downstairs on our TV that required Wifi. There was, in fact, two connections that I could connect to (2.4G and 5G; if I remember correctly). It's been over a month and a half since I've had this Wifi extender and it's been working great! No problems with this product so far.

Easy installation, signal & speed improved immediately!

This wifi extender was very easy to set up and connect to my wifi router following the included directions. The signal was good according to the wifi analyzer app on my phone. However, none of my devices could connect to the extender. I tried a phone, laptop, tablet, and tv, and nothing would connect. I reset the extender multiple times, went through the setup process, and I couldn't get it to work. I am quite certain this was simply a case of a defective product and not my issue as I have set these up before without any problems. This extender also appeared to have been sent out before as the protective film was only on one side, wrinkled, and not even applied, so I'm thinking it was received and returned by another customer before me.

Alittle slow but what do you expect? Its cheap. But it works for surfing the web on my laptop so im happy.

Great speed, easy to install

It didn't do anything. Wi fi was strong enough that we didn't need extra

I bought this as a gift for someone who ended up not needing it so I got them something else and decided to try it myself. I have a very large yard with cameras and my current extender that came with the cameras has never worked well (and was more expensive). I've walked all over the yard and the bands show only one wifi dot which looks like a very weak signal but video played the whole time without interruption so I am happy! The cameras are all showing a strong connection which is great. It will also be nice to be sure it won't bog down my internet when I have guests. I'll take it with me when I visit places since I have 3 or 4 devices I like to use and sometimes at my sister's house we end up with too many devices on the wifi. It's a fabulous solution to that problem. I don't know if it is meant for outdoor use so I have it in the house but if I am doing something outside I can temporarily locate it out there and I feel like it will be a good improvement even though I already am seeing good outdoor connectivity with this extender.

it doesn't always work, but when it does, its super helpful for getting the wifi to reach my room. Just wish it was more consistent.
