AniForte Taurine for Cats 100g - Natural Amino Acid Pet Supplement to Help Muscle Tremors & Nerve Function

Our 15 year old cat had stopped eating. She would pick at her food, and leave half of it uneaten. We tried the expensive brands, no real difference. Started her on this and she is now eating us out house and home. She rarely leaves any food in her bowl, her energy has improved and her body has started to fill out again.

My cat suffers with hyperthyroidism for the last 18 months, he's almost 19 years old, and recently he's been vomiting and so tired even with his medication. Then last week I came across a FB post saying that taurine powder can help cats digestion, and improve their metabolism. He's had it for last 5 days and he's really taken to it, he's less sleepy and he's stopped being sick! He's more cuddly, sociable and confident. It's a white powder that comes with a tiny spoon, and when I sprinkle it over his breakfast it dissolves easily in wet food or gravy. He eats it all up, and he's alert and sociable all day, looking very well!! 😻👍💪

Its just a fine powder that disappears into the food, but delivers the taurine they so desperately need. Having had my first pair of Bengals for 16/17 years, I wish I had known about this, it might have saved them from some of the macular degeneration and intestinal issues they suffered in their final years and they might have gone on even longer. I won't take that chance again, my two now three younger cats are all having their diets carefully monitored and supplements after one girl started over drooling, it stopped immediately after this was added and not occurred since. You cannot see the benefits in a cat normally, but as a human, I take this supplement too and its been amazing for digestive correction and muscular improvement and a variety of odd things you would not believe! Further to the original review I have managed to switch two of my three Bengals onto raw, but the one INSISTS I am trying to poison her, so I have to cook her chicken, which is just meat and won't have enough taurine if any in it, so I cook it lightly and sprinkle this fine powdered taurine into the juices and mix it all up. She never refuses it, gobbles up the lot and she is in peak health, other than her teeth, which have tartar due to her determination to have biscuit ( stop giving it to her did I hear you say?...yeh.. YOU try living with her, she forces her way into and searches the cupboards...if you have a Bengal you will know how hard the word NO can be!) The image is HER special plate of food, with her triumvirate of preferences and ALL three must be present or ELSE! Chicken with taurine, Freshwater Tuna and Royal Canin Oral biscuit (against my wishes!)

I have recently started feeding my cats on a raw diet and was worried they wouldn't get enough taurine so I purchased this to add to their food, it doesn't have any odour and the cats are fine about eating it on their food (they know with some other powders for instance worming powder and refuse to eat it), it comes with a little scoop to measure out the portions and is simple to use, the only reason I have knocked one star off is because it is a bit clumped and you have to break it up with your fingers as the scoop isn't strong enough to break them up, but would certainly recommend this product for anyone worried about their cats not getting enough taurine

This is the first time using Taurine for my cat. He's had a strange twitch on his back for a long time and was always very anxious. He has a raw meat diet and is generally very healthy, but the twitch concerned me. After a week of taking this product with his morning meat, (which he ate with no issues), he has changed dramatically. No twitching at all! He's happy for me to stroke down his back - which he's never tolerated. He also seems calmer. I'm not saying it's a miracle product, (it may not work for every cat), but I wish I'd bought it sooner.

Easy to administer. But do read the instructions the little scoop is more than they need. My cats don't notice it in their food as its very fine powder and I presume tasteless. I think I have already seen an improvement in their general health. The Container is quite difficult to open if you have weak hands like me.

Package shows dosage instructions but theres no measuring spoon included. It would be very helpful if there was a measuring spoon so that the right dose could be administered. I think that overdosing, because of lack of a measure, could result in pet illness or worse

I have a mainecoon which in heart scans showed a weak heart, so our vet prescribed Taurine tablets daily. Since it felt cruel forcing tablets daily on a young cat, I instead found this as an alternative, and the vet confirmed the dose required is identical to a single spoon of this product. I have 2 mainecoons and although the other is tip top health, there is no harm giving it to them both as part of a balanced diet, both are painfully fussy and any addition to their food usually ends in an ignored bowl of food, but thankfully with their normal raw food and it melts in, combined with their other vitamin powder and protein powder they have not even noticed their food has changed, they even seem maybe a bit more keen to finish the bowl! (I do half a spoon in the morning and half in the evening so perhaps this is why they don't notice). Approved by 2 fussy eaters and no upsets tummys, cannot confirm the medical efficacy but dosage is spot on with tablets so on paper it is good.

My kittens eat their raw meat with a bit of added taurine without issues. Their premade meat (muscle meat, organs, bones) does contain just enough taurine, so I add a bit of AniForte Taurine just to be on the safe side that my growing kittens get enough.

Por ahora estoy muy satisfecha, tenia problemas con mi gata pues vomitaba un día si y al siguiente también. Llevo usándolo una semana y solo ha vomitado una vez, espero que siga así.
