Amazing how small things bring great joy! This pencil is every amateur woodworkers dream. They ease of acces to a sharpener ensure no blunt led lines are as crisp and as fine as you need or want them. The lead can be extende to access awkward spots and the different colour options can give definition on hard wood or dark surfaces ensuring marked material is easily seen. Bought one of these for the builder doing my garage conversion and he loves it

I have wanted somthig like thi for a while, but always backed away over the cost. these are resonable and acurate.if you do woodwork buy them, its well worth it

This is my 3rd pencil an 2 outa 3 the sharper has went missing

The media could not be loaded.  This mechanical pencil set arrived in a simple zip lock pouch.There are two retractable pencils (one red, one black) and three plastic boxes of 6 leads (red, black and yellow). The pencils both have black leads installed on arrival. The leads are strong and so far I’ve had no problems with them breaking.The pencils are about 6” long and there is a sharpener screwed into the top. They have a sturdy plastic pocket clip as part of the body.They’ll mark most surfaces and the metal tip is great for marking through holes that a normal pencil is too big for. I keep a black lead in the black pencil and a red lead in the red one for easy identification in use.I don’t know how long these leads will last for every day professional use but for a DIYer like me they’ll last ages.These pencils work well, mark on most surfaces and will mark through holes that normal pencils won’t. At £9.90 they’re well priced compared to others on Amazon so they get 5 stars.

This is a great set of pencils whether you’re a builder or not. The set is all you need for your toolbox and with the refill sets it’ll last you at least a year, and you won’t ever have to go looking for a knife or pencil sharpener. The pencils are about the size of a standard pen and are comfortable to hold. The metal shaft is long and skinny to fit easily through templates and fast angles. The black lead is similar to regular pencil lead, but the colored ones are kind of waxy, which works well on metal, plastic, wood etc. I really like that you can depress the lead into the sleeve when not in use so the tip doesn’t break in my toolbox. The built in sharpener is so convenient.Even if you just want to use this pencil for writing or drawing, it’s so convenient to just have this one pencil in your pocket and you’ve got a whole pencil’s worth of lead but it won’t get shorter as you sharpen, and the sharpener is included!For the price it’s hard to beat the convenience. Everyone should have this in their toolbox!

Klar kann man statt einem Zimmermannbleistift auch einfach einen normalen Bleistift oder Filzstift nutzen, aber gerade bei tieferen Löchern die man anstreichen möchte, ist der gesetzte Punkt nicht ganz exakt. Aufgrund der langen runden Spitze beim Zimmermannbleistift kann man hier deutlich präziser arbeiten. Auf glatten Oberflächen wie Glas oder Metall muss man etwas mehr aufdrücken, doch auch dann kann man eine deutliche Markierung setzen. Aber auch die Markierung auf groben Materialien wie Beton geht ohne Probleme. Der integrierte Spitzer ist echt praktisch um die Mine auch während der Arbeit ausreichend spitz zu halten. Die Verarbeitung des Sets ist sehr gut. Die Handhabung ist sehr einfach und funktioniert grundsätzlich wie ein Druckbleistift. Super finde ich die große Auswahl an Minen, die eine Ewigkeit halten werden. Mit den verschiedenen Farben kann man leicht verschiedene Markierungen vornehmen ohne durcheinander zu kommen, wie z. B. Außen- und Innenmaß beim Holzschnitt.

Both pencils come installed with black lead. Recommend to get use to how the pencils work and replace the black lead with red. Refilling the pencil is easy, there are multiple ways to refill.The top is a sharpener, unscrew the top and a tiny removable sharpener is inside. Does not take but a few turns to form a tip again. Recommend to use a piece of paper to catch the fine shavings.Different pressure and size of marks is simple, and lead is thick enough that it will not break each time it is used like a normal mechanical pencil would.The storage cases slide and lock when not in use. Throw this in a bag or a tool box and start seeing those marks on the walls or pieces of wood your working with.
