Review: Beautiful Doll - She is much larger than I expected. She has gobs of beautiful red ringlets. Some of the ringlets need to be reshaped and are a little frizzy on the ends. I think wrapping damp strands around a thin pencil should smooth and re-curl. She has enough hair to bring a bit up to the crown to form curly bangs (like the original barbie). Other reviewer mentioned the glue holding the dress in place. So, I pinned her hair out of the way and carefully removed the glue by rubbing with my thumbs and fingers. It took time and work, but I was able to remove it. It would be great if the manufacture skips the glue - what a pain. One elbow joint is stiff, and I gently worked it out a little, but it isn't completely moveable. I was afraid it would break if I tried to force it. The other joints move easily, and the ankles are also moveable. The joints are ugly to me, but I love the articulation, and I'm already getting used to them. I turned 70 in September and fell in love with the original Barbie the first time I saw her. She was the original Barbie. didn't have a daughter, but always wanted to buy myself a barbie, but thought everyone would think me weird, but I realized, at my age I don't care if anyone thinks I'm weird. 😉 It was her voluminous red hair and pleasantly beautiful face that made me decide that she is the one. Unlike all or most of the reviewers, I love her hip colorful outfit and turquoise shoes. She comes with a stand. I would have loved it if she'd also come with a purse/bag and some jewelry. If you give her to a young child, I'd take her out of her packaging. I can imagine a youngster breaking something getting her out of the box. It took me a long time to gently remove her from the box. Young children will need to be gentle with her moveable joints. I am very happy with my purchase.
Review: Beautiful doll with gorgeous curly auburn hair! - This is a very beautiful doll with her thick, curly auburn hair. She has the Victoria face sculpt and a standard made to move body with the 22 points of articulation. I wasn't too crazy about her color-block outfit which is all one piece, so I separated it to make just a red pleather skirt. I am very happy to have her in my collection!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A rare redhead finally found! Barbie Looks #13
*by U***R on November 7, 2025*

I missed out when this doll was first released at retail price and now she's very hard to find unless you're willing to pay stupid money (£80+!) on eBay and other seller sites (I'm not). I stumbled across her here and even with shipping and taxes added, she was good value for money. She was very well packed and looks great unboxed. I must had fallen into a portal when I bought her at the time and I wish I'd bought two because she no longer ships to the UK. I may try again in a month or two to see if that's changed, but I'm happy with the one I have now.
