I've been fussing about toilet paper dispensers for many years. They barely function. Try to get a flattened roll to turn easily. Try to keep a spring-loaded plastic roller in the holder without it flying out across the bathroom. Where does one keep the moist wipes that is convenient and trouble free? Well, search Amazon and you might find this option (and others that are similar.) Of this bunch, I find this one better than the rest. It is not perfect. 1. The Box. The basic unit is a box. It is designed to hold a package of "Dude Wipes"(TM) or "Cottonelle", but it could also hold other products. In this design, the box holds a drawer. In other designs, the box has a hinged lid. The drawer is somewhat better. It allows something to be placed on top of the box while hands are dealing with other matters. Great ideas. Unfortunately, a drawer can easily be pulled right out of the box. This VOLDRA design provides two stop screws that prevent the drawer being pulled out. However, if the drawer is pulled out to the stops, and the pull knob is released, the drawer tilts down in the front and the rounded back corners of the drawer permit it to fall to the floor with the contents. Learn to push the drawer back in a bit to prevent this. Of course, as you pull the wipes from their packet in the drawer, the drawer can still work forward and fall. This can be fixed. Add a metal extension to the front of the two screws. VODLRA could also fix it at some point. 2. The toilet paper (bog roll) dispenser. This dispenser is attached to the bottom of the box by two screws. It is strong enough, I think, but it is unfortunately springy. The opening for installing the roll can be either left our right, as you desire. It does not seem to be handedness that make the determination here, but rather if the dispenser is on the left or right or straight in front of the water closet. If you get it wrong it is easy to change. The springyness is however a problem. The unmodified unit mounted properly on walls can be a significant noise maker as the paper is unrolled--not so much in the bathroom, but in adjoining rooms! It is possible to make accurate estimates of how much paper is being used by the current occupant of the facilities based upon the number of rapid fire thumps. One can also accurately guess how much paper is left on the current roll by how rapid fire the bump noises are. 3. General. The unit is mostly non-magnetic. So, it is not carbon steel or iron. I am guessing aluminum. The paint is well done, though it can be abraded with construction dust. It can be spray-painted to provide a color other than black, but inside there are black high-density foam panels adhered to the sides of the drawer, and these will not work well after painting unless they are well masked. I don't recommend painting for that reason. The knob can be easily replaced to match other hardware in the bathroom. VOLDRA provided three ways to mount this dispenser. One is just screws if you are lucky enough to have solid wood where you want it to hang. Second are plastic anchors to put in drywall to then hold the screws. Third is a molded plastic strip with a peel and stick packing wich is great for a tile wall or tempered glass, or polished stone. Many folks could figure out many other ways to mount it, too. Just realize that the mounting has to work with a lot of vibration as the paper is pulled. Although this unit is surprisingly light it is not weightless. You don't want it falling of the wall. I rated this 4 stars. I rate its competition at three stars at the time I am writing this. If a few adjustments are made on the design, my rating would go higher. However, I am building two of these out of nice cabinet wood and fixing the problems, so I may never purchase more. This is a gem, but it needs more polishing. But then so does its competition. But who bothers with designing great Toilet Paper dispensers?

Looks amazing. However, we tried using regular Huggies wipes and a brand new pack doesn’t fit. A used one does. This is only for the smaller, true flushable butt wipes. Other than that, it looks awesome and works well. Easy to install.

It was perfect for our bathroom, only it needs to be a bit longer to cover old holes made by previous toilet paper holders. Since it wasn’t long enough for that, we returned.

Looks sturdy in images but it is far from it. Very flimsy and the way the bar is connected it is unlikely this would last more than a year. Not even worth the time to install as it would probably need replacing too soon.

Great Loo roll holder. Quality is great. Nice and sturdy. Love that is based is weighted so it doesn't fall over. The draw is handy too. Could easily fit a pack of wet wipes or femanin products inside for discreceny.
