A Sweet Winter Book Toddlers Love to Read Again and Again
This is such a cute winter themed book for babies and toddlers. The simple story is easy for little ones to follow, and the lift the flap pages keep them engaged from beginning to end. My daughter loves interacting with the book by opening each flap and seeing what surprise is hiding underneath.The board book itself is very sturdy, with thick pages that hold up well to frequent reading. The flaps are a great size for little hands and have been surprisingly durable even after being opened and closed many times.The illustrations are bright, cheerful, and full of fun winter scenes that make it a perfect seasonal book to bring out each year. Wonderful winter fun!
I have started a collection of books by this author as my little one just gets endless amounts of enjoyment from them. This one I saved to purchase during winter and gave it to her for Christmas. Which just so happened to be the first white Christmas I’ve seen in years! Over all I am incredibly pleased with the quality and cost and it arrived very quickly. It’s obviously a very easy read and has just enough to keep her attention but not so much she gets overwhelmed. I’ve been reading these books to her since she was 3-4 months old (she is 15 months old now) and it has been such a joy to watch her learn how to lift and move the flaps herself and discover what lies beneath. I look forward to being able to reread these with any future children. The only downside I can think of is sometime she gets a little too exited moving a flap and has ripped quite a few, however they can usually be taped back together or the price is so good I have no problem replacing it altogether if need be. The joy of reading to her is worth it.

Great Series! Great gift for “Grands”!
I’ve given my almost two year old granddaughter many of Karen Katz’ lift the flap book and she loves all of them. I’ve been giving her each of the “seasons” on the solstice/equinox! She loved this winter one and I just ordered “Baby Loves Spring” to complete her seasons!

Great book—and durable, too!
How many times have I read this to my granddaughter?!? She loves Karen Katz’s books and this one doesn’t disappoint. I like that I can read it to her several times and then she takes the book and reads it to her dolls. The book is well made and the interactive flaps are strong enough to stand up repeated toddler use!

Great for Toddlers
I work with Toddlers so the bright colors big pictures and simple “story “ is perfect for them. Just don’t leave them alone with it or you will need a lot of scotch tape for repairing the flaps.😜

Excellent for babies and toddlers
Love all of the Karen Katz flap books. Took my granddaughter from infant to toddler and she still loves them. Vivid illustrations and predictable text for shared reading fun. Flaps will rip, so best to be read together.
