Surprising Great Book!
My expectations were pretty low for this book based on the price, but I was pleasantly surprised. The subject is covered in great detail, including physiological mechanisms of blood pressure control, how to interpret your readings (including the concept of workload), and the effects of low and high blood pressure.I haven't read the entire book yet, but I'm so impressed with what I've read so far that I had to leave this review! Now back to the book....

Good Summary Information
Much of the information is pretty basic, but it is a nice summary and a reminder to me to work on changing my lifestyle to becoming more active and dropping a few pounds so I can have a much longer life expectancy and not suffer heart disease issues as I age.

Basic information
For a very low price gives a good explanation of what hypertension is and its causes then goes on to outline various ways to reduce high blood pressure and cardiac disease. However the author gives no details as to his background or why we should accept his ideas and some of his thinking about diet is questionable, eg saturated fat causes the arteries to clog up, an idea which is being gradually discredited, and to only eat 4 eggs per week, why? Some useful information though.

Very Helpful
Thanks to the writer for producing such a useful book. I am finally learning to live without prescribed drugs. With all the risks that are involved with tablets it is great to have these suggested methods to permanently reduce high blood pressure.
