A perfect camera to start vlogging and beyond
I bought the Canon EOS R50 as my first mirrorless camera for vlogging and I couldn’t be more satisfied. The image quality is excellent thanks to its 24.2 megapixels, and the 4K video is sharp and smooth—perfect for creating high-quality content without complications. The autofocus is very fast and accurate, even while moving, and the subject detection and tracking feature has been amazing when filming on the go or with more people in the frame. The included lens (RF-S 18-45mm) is very versatile for everyday use and ideal to get started without needing to invest in another lens right away. Plus, it’s a lightweight and compact camera, making it super easy to carry anywhere. The smartphone connection is very useful for quickly transferring photos and videos, and also for remotely controlling the camera. In short, if you’re looking for an easy-to-use, powerful camera designed for content creators, this is a great choice. Highly recommended.

Super awesome camera with pricey lenses
Loved this camera, i returned it because if you have the galaxy s25(which i do), it takes the same quality of pics. I was using for auction pics and they came out great. The lens though was close to 1000$ and it was close up specific. If i wanted to take a different style of pics ,i would have to do another g and im just not that hardcore into photography. Super awesome though , great beginner camera for sure.

Great beginning camera
So I’ve never shot on a “real” camera before this. I’ve spent a couple hours playing around with the settings and figuring out different settings/modes. It’s been super easy and fairly straightforward. Once you get the basics I feel like you could really take some impressive shots. The 18-45 lens is alright, but I definitely plan on getting a new one. The autofocus and auto scenes are good, but of course sometimes it’s a little goofy. I got a silicone case just for my own peace of mind, but the feel of the camera itself feels very nice and durable but not too bulky.

Excelet for a newbie
Im an absolute novice when it comes to photography, that being said it seems to be a very good camera for a beginner.some of the modes make shooting simple..there is a bit of a learning curve so if you're new like me I'd recommend reading the manual thoroughly and watching some YouTube to get an idea for lenses and filters, what they do and how to implimeny them for the best shots.battery life is good and it seems to be a sturdy frame.would recommend

BUY THE BODY ONLY GET A BETTER LENS
This camera is great to learn on. I love taking pictures and have wanted a camera for a long time. After doing research regarding DSLR or mirrorless, I decided to go mirrorless and this camera was in my price-range. I recommend buying the body only , as the 18-45mm it comes with isnt great. That being said the auto-focus works, I try to barely use it as I'm trying to learn manual. I've heard some bad reviews regarding the battery life, but myself haven't shot for super long periods at a time so don't have an opinion on that yet. I think its a great camera to get familiar with and small enough to carry around. The speed has been good thus far. It does not perform well in low-light, this I cant say enough. It also is a crop sensor which I wish I had dug into more before buying, probably wouldve saved a little more for a full frame camera. I also tried using a NIKKOR lens adapter as my husband had a 50mm NIKKOR lens at home, which didnt work. Pictures came out super blurry, I dont know whether the fault is the adapter or my camera. Resolution isnt the clearest but again the fault might be mine since I'm always in manual and still a beginner. Color accuracy is good, I shoot in RAW and alter in lightroom to get my desired effect. I think its a good camera to learn on!

Amazing Camera!!!
I absolutely love this camera. The quality is amazing when shooting in manual and it has great color accuracy. The battery lasts a really long time which is great too. I don't have to charge the battery very often. The base is smaller than a DSLR camera but that just makes it easier to bring around everywhere. I've taken a lot of cool photos with it so far! I would highly recommend this camera, but if you want a better zoom, the base kit lens only goes up to 45mm so you'd have to purchase another lens.

I've been using the Canon EOS 50 for a while now, and I’m extremely satisfied with its performance. This camera is the perfect balance between user-friendly and professional-quality results. The image quality is fantastic, with sharp details and vibrant colors that really pop. I love how the camera handles low-light situations, producing clear and crisp images even in dim environments. The autofocus is fast and accurate, making it easy to capture the perfect shot, whether I’m shooting portraits or landscapes. Another highlight is its lightweight and ergonomic design, making it comfortable for long shooting sessions. The menu system is intuitive, and the variety of modes and settings gives me plenty of creative control. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced photographer, the Canon EOS 50 is an excellent choice. It’s reliable, versatile, and delivers amazing results every time.
