I struggle with wearing normal shoes and always usually buy clarks wide shoes. I bought some wellies from elsewhere (size 10,normal width) and they were so tight I stopped wearing them after 1 day (feet were killing).These jcb ones seem good. They're surprisingly heavy which may be a negative if you're only doing something like gardening like me, but if you're doing heavy building the toe section seems indestructible when pressed down (metal toe cap).The fit was perfect width ways (I bought 10 wide). the length was a bit big. So I just put on a pair of slightly fat socks (not the very fat wooly ones, just slightly thick socks from sports direct) and it helped. With/without socks both would have still been OK to use the wellies.My brother is size 11 and tried these and said they were a decent size for him when compared to him trying my other size 10 wellies (above). But he stopped using the jcb maybe because the width was too big for him.My old wellies also bunched up around my calves a little too much (I have wide calves). It was workable but uncomfortable.These jcb ones are a lot better though still slightly slightly bunch up.I definitely made the right choice switching to these though. It's not easy finding wide size in footwear.Price is good and so far I've only use them for 8hrs while gardening (some use of jetwash/getting wet and some just painting) and they look like they'll hold up well.Bugger issue for me that I see is just that they're heavy.
