**Q: is this strong enough to take 250 degree F heat for 10 hours plus? as plan to use this to hang brisket in a smoking bbq barrel**
A: Yes. Zinc doesn't melt until 419.5 F and steel doesn't melt until around 2500F. The heat in your smoker won't affect the integrity of the chain at all.

**Q: Is this chain rust proof?**
A: Ours not rusted but only used occasionally.

A: If you Google the model number, it's rated at 250kg, to be safe I wouldn't exceed 200kg.
