These are so wonderful! I have lost so much hair in the past 20 years that I am very sad about it. It is depressing. At one point I even just shaved off all my hair because I was so sick of it looking so thin and terrible. Why does that matter with these? My hair actually looks cute again. I put my hair in a little bun and then I clip this thing right to it. I had not used a claw in a long time. By the time I was able to use them again I started seeing all those videos where they stab in the back of the head when you're in a car accident. Granted people don't get into accidents everyday, but why risk it if you can avoid it? This is a nice cute little alternative! Makes my hair look cute And they're way sturdier than I would have thought they would have been hanging out sideways in my hair. Most the time I do have it in a pony first but not every time. It stays in firm whether I have a pony in first or just loosen it up and throwing it up. Again I have really thin hair so I can fit my whole head of hair in here. When I had thicker hair I probably would only be able to fit half of it. But that would be a cute half do as well. The quality is excellent! They look great, the spring is great, and I just cannot fault it for any reason

I LOVE these clips they stay where they are put and don't slip. I am a Flight Attendant with shoulder length, thick fine hair, these do not move even after 15 hours. I thought they would break the first time I used them, I had to fight to get it clipped as my hair is thick, it didn't break and held until I got the hotel 16 hours later. These hold so strong I had trouble getting them unclipped in my Hotel, I was tired and my hands hurt I almost called another crew member to help me when I finally got it to release! Another plus to these and the main reason I tried them is they are flat and don't bother me on the jumpseat, most clips stick out and push my head forward or cut into the back of my head, these do not. These are very comfortable, I did not notice the clip at all while working. These are great clips, very strong, they look great and are I think a very good price for the quality of the clip.

These are nicely made hair clips in beautiful neutral colors that would look good on all hair colors. I have long, straight and very smooth hair, so these don’t always hold on tightly enough unless I’m very strategic about how I place them - so there’s a little bit of a learning curve for me. But if you have hair with a little more texture, these would probably grip very well. I use them at home most often, when it doesn’t matter if they slip out sometimes. I like that they don’t grip so hard that I get a headache.

I really, really, really wanted to love these but they just don't work for my hair. I have waist length hair, not too thick (postpartum), silky when blow dried, wavy when air dried. It does not hold all my hair in a bun, it may "grasp" it but any slight head movement and it slides to the side, bun and all loose. I tried a French twist, but did not hold it, the twist was too thick to grasp and hold. Sadly no go for me. It would work for those with shorter hair, textured hair for grip, and thin hair, or kids hair lol. Im giving it 3 stars because the build quality looks strong, the texture or material is soft to the touch and it is comfortable on the head, does not pull hair, etc. So it is a great product but didnt work for my hair.

Ok, these are actually fantastic! Flatter than a claw clip, and wide enough to hold a fair amount of hair. They are quite comfy and an elegant alternative to a claw clip - great for the corporate girlies.

I have very long, very thick, slightly wavy hair and am always trying to find a good product for holding a bun or twist. I have tried so many hair clips, pins and forks. Most of those that are advertised as being for thick hair do not hold my hair and are a disappointment. Or they are really uncomfortable to wear all day. I was frankly not expecting much from these but I am very pleasantly surprised! It does take 2 of them to hold my hair in an updo but it holds securely and more comfortably than any other clips or hair forks I have tried. I am a believer! I can't speak on the sturdiness since I just got them so we'll see. The only suggestion I have for the seller is that it would be nice to be able to order one color. These are all different colors and since I need to wear 2, that means wearing 2 different colors. The colors are similar and harmonious though. All in all, a great buy and I would definitely buy again.

I have very long, thick, wavy hair down past my rear so I use a lot of hair claws to keep it up because hair ties are uncomfortable. I can't use traditional plastic hair claws because they're not strong enough and they irritate the crap out of my scalp. I was previously using metal hair claws because they're more comfortable than plastic ones (shorter teeth that don't dig into scalp) and stronger holding, but I don't like that the finish fades, they rust eventually, and kinda smell weird. Anyway, I bought these which are awesome. They don't have any teeth that dig into your scalp and they're lightweight. What I do is wrap my hair up into a bun and then clip the tail end up with one of these clips, and sometimes I use two clips - I slide them into the bottom layer of each side of the bun. I'll definitely be buying more of them because they really are so much more comfortable than heavy metal ones and plastic claws.

The material doesn't slip like the hard slick plastic ones do. I bought both and I am going to donate the other ones because they are too slippery for my hair. I have a 4 star instead of 5 because the colors were only ok. I wanted just brown or black but you couldn't order them that way.
