Bought this to put into my Tamyia Lunch Box. Fantastic upgrade! Works on standard ESC and what a difference. Well worth a buy!

Nice fast motor.
Added this motor to a Tamiya Grasshopper and it delivers a lot of power compared to the standard motor. Another good upgrade from Tamiya. Does not come with a pinion gear and needs to be ordered separately.

Purchased a few of these for M chassis racing series. Good little brushed can motors.

Excellent.
Excellent value for money, replaced my original 15 year old motor perfectly. Even the connectors married up. Only difference from the original tamiya 540 is that it has a cool sticker on the motor body.

Good value Tamiya hi-torque motor
An excellent and good value motor. Works a treat and gives much better performance than the previous hi-torque (not branded) or the regular Tamiya motor.

Great Upgrade for Tamiya Cars
This motor is underrated. Everyone thinks they need to upgrade these to TZ/RZ/BZ 23T or 19T aftermarket or brushless motors. I used to be like that. I have recently used these with the lowest FDR possible in a Tamiya car and then use NiMh, 2S Lipo, and 3S Lipo to control how much speed I want. Tamiya does all of their R&D on their cars with these motors and it is evident. I am seeing great performance by sticking with these over more expensive aftermarket ones. They're also fairly priced.
