iPower LED Grow Light System with Stand Rack for Indoor Plant Growing, 4 Feet, 36W

I am real pleased with this light. I use it for garden starts and basil plants in the fall. It works well for my needs. Easy to setup and I think it is worth the money.

We've decided to start doing some preseason seed startings and we started to look for components for a system to use at home. We've checked out a number of components online including light stands. We found reviews for this unit which were almost all 5 stars! People commented on the easy of set-up for this particular unit, i.e. the "fold-away" design which required no bolts or screws yet provide excellent stability. We also decided to go with the LED light bank because of less heat and reduced electrical demand. Also, the florescent tubes with nearly all the other systems we believe are more likely to suffer damage while the LED bulbs should also last much longer than the florescent ones. When the package arrived we set it up in a matter of minutes & it works great!

This is a great set up and I love that it is height adjustable. However, I needed to wrap the excess cord around frame so it wouldn't slip. Second, the cheap rings that hold cord to light pulled when adjusting light. One side of light fell but I caught it before it hit ground. I found two same size key rings and swapped them for the cheap wire rings and now it is perfect. I also love the fact that it collases for storage. I kept all boxing as to store this away when not in use. Picture is prior to ring replacement and prior to my tomato seedlings.

Overall very useful and solid product

The metal frame itself is great. Taller than I expected. The actual light coming from the light bar is great. However, the "directions" say to "pry off the end caps" which is extremely hard to do. It's not clear what actually comes off and I literally had to drill a screw into the little hole to get it off. The pulley to adjust the height of the light bar is iffy.

Working great, very agile on how they can be placed height wise.

I used this grow light for the first time this year, it really helped my plants. Much brighter than the T5 one I also use. Was able to put almost all my plants under it so this should be good for most home gardeners. I used a timer to control time uni was on and had both blubs turned on. I saved the pacaging and used it to store the unit for next year.
