MOMSIV 12oz Travel Coffee Mug, Insulated Coffee Cup with Leakproof Lid

I absolutely positively love this 17oz dark red coffee cup! The dark red is a nice blood red color rather than the usual orange red you mostly see. It is made from once piece of stainless steel so no seam inside cup that could eventually breakdown and leak. The lid is leak proof as advertised, and and clips nicely closed. I like the fact that the top portion of the lid is square which make it easier to tighten or remove. I ordered this to replace my plastic travel mug and the MOMSIV It is a bit wider at the base and slightly shorter but, it holds the same amount of liquid and is also more stable and the non slip base is a nice addition. I haven't noticed any weird taste, just nice coffee. The mug is really easy to clean - just wash and dry it after each use and it's ready to go again. My Mom saw it and loved it so much that I now have to buy one for her. Compared to what you would pay at any retail store ($19-$30) for travel mugs that leak, the price is a great bargain for a Vacuum Sealed Stainless Steel Double Walled leakproof 17oz travel mug at $12.99, so I bought two. I looked at a few of the travel mugs and settled on the MOMSIV travel mug as the other ones I liked had all the same features but were twice as expensive and only offered 12oz. With MOMSIV you can get either the 12oz or 17oz. It's a quality product imo. It will keep your drink hot for a couple of hours and warm up to about 4 hours - don't expect miracles though, if you want piping hot coffee all day then spend the money and buy a thermos, or buy something you can throw in the microwave.

Doesn't spill, you could leave this upside down in a bag and it will not leak. It's a good size and shape. Drink stays warm

Nice cup. Well insulated and no leaks so far. It kept my coffee warm for most of the day (about 4 hours).

Purchased two of these insulated cups in 11/2024. Maintains the temp of your beverages well. I primarily use mine for hot tea and have no complaints for that. The worst part of the hot drink is that I need to leave the top off for a little bit so the boiling water can cool to a drinkable temperature sooner (with the lid on it takes a significantly longer time) that’s not a bad thing when you’re on the go though, you just have to have patience. As I said, I purchased two of these, one black one turquoise. Both are used daily. The black one is used for everything -coffees, tea, cold drinks, grown drinks lol. The turquoise is used for tea- 95% hot, 5% iced. The black one is fine. The turquoise one is now weirdly discolored on the inside. It looks like the finish is wearing off in patches. It hasn’t affected the functionality but feels like it’s not a good idea to use. Only ever had washed. With the lid closed there’s no spilling- a big plus. Don’t overfill though, it will leak. I’ll likely buy another, as the overall use/experience has been positive.

THESE MUGS ARE AWESOME. I initially got a couple so my gf and I could enjoy cold beverages on the beach for an upcoming trip. As a colleague had pointed out - thermal mugs keep hot beverages hot and cold beverages cold. I bought a couple of these because they were a cheap option that looked relatively attractive. I wasn't expecting the design to be so good. We literally use them every day. The top screws on snugly and between the gasket and the flip top mouthpiece that snaps shut, you can fill this thing with coffee (or whatever) and LITERALLY throw it in a bag and not worry about the thing leaking. I mean literally literally. Like, the thing can do multiple flips in the air and land in your bag and it will be fine. Most other coffee cup designs I've seen have some failure point where either the top will pop off or the slider for the sippy hole could come loose or the gasket doesn't seal nicely. You can throw this thing in the air and not spill a drop. In the winter I use this for hot coffee and drink out of it in my office space so I don't have to worry about accidentally knocking a mug over into my computer or other gear. In the summer, I fill it with ice cubes, put iced coffee in it and a touch of milk, screw the lid on, make sure the mouthpiece is snapped shut, and then just vigorously shake it in the cup without worrying about spilling anything. No stirring or anything required, and even like 12 hours later, and still had solid pieces of ice in it. I've literally forgotten that I had coffee, come back to several hours later, and the beverage has still been hot/cold. It may or may not also work swimmingly for cocktails. Or so I've heard. There's a rubber base that acts as a buffer between surfaces and mildly helps keep it from sliding around on counter tops. All in all, a good design. A couple of things to note - the silicone grip on the outside should not be removed. Once you do, it will be stretched out and it will come off very easily. It will probably loosen over time anyway, but with a little care you can keep it from coming completely off. This is the one design flaw. My girlfriend ended up losing hers somehow. Supposedly it's somewhere in our kitchen but I have NO idea where that thing went. I suspect it may have accidentally gotten thrown away somehow. This isn't a big deal. The cup is well insulated and you won't burn (or freeze) your hand without the grip, but it's kind of annoying to have it missing. She ended up getting a cloth coozy that fits over it so something takes the place where the indent on the cup for the grip is. It's more cosmetic than anything else. I'd also suggest giving it a good clean after each use. The inside walls have a light texture to them so if you just rinse it out after having coffee or tea you'll eventually get some build up from the oils/tannins. This is probably a no-brainer to a lot of people, but I've known enough people who just rinse their daily cup that it's worth mentioning. I was able to restore a kind of gross one with some light scrubbing with a brillo pad though, so I guess the fact that it can be restored is another plus! Anyway, this cup punches well above its price point and I liked it so much that I ended up buying one for everyone in my family and their spouses last Christmas. If I lost mine, I would buy another one in a heartbeat. The standard sizing is also nice since you can often ask coffee places to use this cup instead of a disposable which will sometimes get you a discount.

Love my travel mug. I use it for my coffee in the morning. It definitely keeps the coffee hot. Just how I like it. Worth the buy!

Just got it yesterday and today I’m finally putting it to use. It does the job but doesn’t seem to hold heat all that well. But I really like the color, how it has grip around the sides and at the bottom to keep from slipping. The only major issue I had with it was getting the top open to clean it out before I use it. The top was so tightly closed that I think I bruised the palm of my hand trying to get open. I still have marks from the day before, on my hand.

Great cup. It was tossed around and no leakage. I wish I could buy more silicon seals after they start turning yellow.

Perfect size. Fits in my car cup holder. Silicone ring is large and on the outside of lid, so it is easy to clean. Snaps closed, and can snap all the way open. Super easy to drink from too.
