These work!
The adhesive is very strong so you have to be very careful. The traps come folded with the adhesive side stuck to itself. It takes a lot of patience to pull it apart. I just noticed the instructions suggest that heating the trap with a blow dryer first makes it easier to pull apart. I tape the trap to the floor with packing tape. I lay it across my kitchen doorway. The trap is longer than the doorway so I tape it up the wall on each side. I make sure everything is flush to the floor and the wall. This way, the intruder cannot run under the trap. It cannot get by without getting stuck. The drawback with this method is that you have to step over the trap as you come and go. It's worth it to me though. You get used to it quickly. I replace the trap with a new one immediately after catching an intruder. There’s a trap down at all times.

ABSOLUTELY THEY WORK
After recently moving into a home that backs up to a dense patch of woods, it didn’t take long to realize that we were sharing our new space with some uninvited guests: mice. These small rodents are deceptively destructive—gnawing through insulation, wiring, and stored food—and their reproductive rate makes a minor problem escalate into a full infestation almost overnight. A single breeding pair can produce dozens of offspring in just a few months, which means early detection and swift control are critical. So far in 48 hrs. we have managed to catch 6 but they managed to destroy anything in the garage that could be used to build a nest including my Thanksgiving and Christmas decorations! Compared to snap traps or electronic traps, sticky traps provide several diagnostic advantages: Monitoring Tool: They help identify high-traffic areas, revealing rodent activity patterns and infestation levels. Non-toxic Design: Unlike poison baits, they pose no chemical hazard to children or pets when used properly. Immediate Feedback: Homeowners can quickly see whether rodent activity persists or declines after control measures are applied. Overall Assessment: From a technical standpoint, these sticky mouse traps are a cost-effective, diagnostic-grade tool for early rodent detection and control—especially for homes near wooded areas, where mouse incursions are seasonal and recurring. Effectiveness: ★★★★☆ (Excellent for detection, moderate for eradication) Ease of Use: ★★★★★

Hello aneurysm! Almost impossible to set up!
Well…. I thought this was going to be the answer to my mouse woes! I was so so so wrong! They send this product wrapped in upon itself. You are having to pull it apart from its own adhesive. Can you say “aneurysm?” Can you spell it? I tried and tried to pull this apart. My eyes were bulging. My brain felt like it was going to explode. Everytime I would get an inch opened up, the backing paper would rip apart. Pretty soon, everything is stuck to the adhesive. If you manage to get one opened up, it will not likely lay flat. Instead, it creates nice little mouse tunnels for the buggers to crawl through. Now, it did manage to catch one mouse. Which wasn’t dead. So now, I had to figure out how to mercifully dispatch the car-destroying embodiment of evil without getting anything else stuck to the strip. You cannot just cut the section with the rodent out either: the adhesive sticks to everything. Pretty soon, I had a wadded up sticky ball with a mouse somewhere in the middle. So….total failure of a product. They need to find a better way to ship these so that you can set them up. And a better way to remove sections once a mouse is caught. Otherwise, you are throwing out a whole trap when you could have just removed the 6” afflicted by the stuck medieval plague of mouseness.

Best sticky trap!
Best sticky mouse traps I’ve ever used, I set up a little square ones and they did not catch the mice. These were perfect and completely eliminated the mouse problem

Don't work for me, mechanical traps do, not these.
Putting these in the attic full of mice wasn't nearly as effective as regular old mouse traps. Actually, not one mouse with four of these long strips put up there while the spring traps keep catching them so for me, they are completely ineffective. Just regular mechanical mouse traps have worked for me, 14 mice in two weeks while these sit without catching one.
