It is definitely worth your money. This comb does what others do not! The actual teeth get hot! Allowing you to not only get the root but not have to twist the comb awkwardly to get the heat to reach the roots. Most have to use the back of the comb, Not with this one. I have been using it to this day. It still works and I think the temp goes to either 420 or 450 although I never go that high

Great pressing comb! I had this exact one but it went out after a couple of years of use. So I bought the exact same one. Works just as well, if not better! It gets HOT!! It doesn't play when it comes to heat. I actually hit my neck with it (for just a few seconds) and it made a dark mark where you could actually see the lines of the pressing comb, haha. I put it on ten (it goes to 20) and that is plenty of heat! I have more natural hair and this comb straightens it between 1-3 passes! Some things to watch out for: This comb gets way too hot to use on the edges of your hair so I suggest using a different comb made for straightening your edges. Also, the material of the comb is pretty slippery and smooth. So sometimes, my finger will slip and press the on/off button. The up and down is a "turner" kind of button. You spin it to turn the heat up and down and your finger can easily slip on it and you'll turn the heat up or down without noticing so definitely see an eye on that for safety! Overall: I recommend this comb for sure!! It's just great and last a long time. It gets crazy hot. Just watch out for the smooth material and be careful with the heat near your edges, face, and neck.

I think the first thing to know is that I purchased it to get the really fine hairs straight. I spent a lot of time burning my head however curly girls have tough scalps and I have really wanted a tool like this for a long time so I kept it up. i’ve used it for about six times now and I am doing so great at not burning my head and the pieces that I really wanted to use it on are just how I wanted it. So I’ve moved on to other spots of my hair and then after using like a blowout tool I’ll run this through my hair by holding up each portion of hair and just going through because I don’t need to get all the way down into the scalp. it makes my hair follicles really close and look like I I have silky straight hair, but yet also shiny and still with body. So the body brings me to another part of the review. Not only is there a learning curve with Not burning your head, but also on how to use the tool and which way to curve it so that you can actually get that little bit of curve at the end so it will kind of maybe not look super stick straight at the end which seems to make everyone’s hair, not look the greatest. The one thing that I will say, I really don’t like about the design is the stand that comes on it, made so that it doesn’t burn the counters when you put it down. Problem is that it tends to go down when I’m using the tool and it isn’t real convenient to use your same hand to flip it either down or up. All that said, I’m really glad that I have it. It’s a game changer for me and I just encourage you to stick with it and learn how to work with it and I think you’ll be really happy.

For 14 years I was natural then I used chemicals in my hair. I have several years experience with different hair products. I love this hot comb! My hair looks better than a perm! It’s been over a year since I’ve been natural hair again. I have 4c dry extremely coiled hair. The shrinkage is a very short Afro. When I pressed my hair with this electric hot comb my hair was shoulder length, shiny and straighter than a perm! I’m also a big sweater. But my hair was so straight it lasted until I washed it. I only had the temperature halfway up. Be sure your hair is fully dry before using. Try a small section of hair at a low temperature before increasing the temperature. It’s better to keep the temperature down and let the comb lag on your hair, than to accidentally burn your hair. Be sure you comb your hair out before using the hot comb. If your hair gets tangled. Stop! Comb your hair out again. Then proceed, to avoid incidents. This comb gets the roots and short hair very well. I oil my hair a bit before using the comb. Even if you’re a beginner, I would recommend using this comb. It gets super hot so be careful and keep out of children’s reach. It will automatically shut off after it’s not in use. The on off button can incidentally be pushed. The comb wipes clean easily. It’s lightweight and easy to hold for long periods of time. The cord is fairly long. The comb was best priced at $17 because the controller is easily turned off, the dial for changing the heat is a little odd and difficult to see, the stand doesn’t help keep the comb off surfaces while hot, and it requires constant supervision while on. I’ve used it several times now, but I have years of experience. Be careful not to burn yourself. But I love this comb and recommend using it responsibly and with caution.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I liked this hot comb and used 2 of the same brands for 2 years. I use this product to melt my lace frontals. The problem is for both of them was the comb will get loose and start swiveling once you comb the hair. I tried to tighten them up but can’t seem to do that. That is the only complaint I have about both models. Other than that , they are great. I’m going to another brand because of this and can’t enough longevity with this product. I usually use at least once every week.

Heats up fast, can get very hot and works effectively. Well priced. I can't believe it took so long to purchase this product. I'm so grateful that when I did, I was able to get it at such a competitive price. It has quickly become my favourite tool.

I really like this ceramic press comb, it very practical and handy. Got heated fast , light in weight, and has long electric cord. The only things I don’t like is its end plug socket, as it’s designed for USA system.

Great but dangerous product, if you're not careful you'll have a burnt scalp or cheeks depending on what you're straightening
